  “I’m incredibly frustrated with this company. I had a new roof installed back in 2013, and since then I’ve had a leak every single year. Initially, they were quite helpful when they came to fix the problems, but after the third time, they completely stopped responding. To make matters worse, they tried to blame the stains on my ceiling for pre-existing damage, which was completely ridiculous. Despite offering a good warranty, they haven’t actually done anything to repair their faulty work. A seven-year warranty is useless when they won’t fix the leaks they caused! Honestly, the quality of their work is terrible, and I strongly advise anyone considering them to think very carefully. There are other roofing companies out there who do a better job and actually honor their promises. I’m currently dealing with a new leak – it started directly over my bed – and I’m determined to get this resolved.” report abuse

  Roofing USA and Ben were a really frustrating experience. Initially, Ben presented a compelling pitch and his estimate was higher than others, which we were willing to accept given the level of detail he provided about the roof he’d build. However, the quality of the work was shockingly poor. The crew was entirely Spanish-speaking and Ben rarely checked in on the progress. Within months, the roof started leaking badly, causing significant damage to our bedroom ceiling and a new skylight. The biggest issue was that they replaced the original, properly designed canales with much shorter ones that directed rainwater directly onto our bedroom windows. During a heavy rain, this overwhelmed the seals and flooded our bedroom, ruining the drywall and the floor. Despite our concerns, Ben insisted the short canales were correctly designed, even though we’d seen longer canales used in our neighborhood. After the initial problems, Roofing USA simply stopped responding to our calls and eventually declared bankruptcy, leaving us with a huge mess to clean up – we ended up paying our home insurance deductible to fix the damage. While they eventually replaced the canals and fixed the leaks, the entire situation was marked by a lack of responsiveness and a fundamental misunderstanding of proper drainage. Honestly, we wouldn’t recommend Roofing USA – it’s best to seek out a more established and reliable roofing company. report abuse

  “We were incredibly disappointed with our experience. We invested over $16,000 in a brand new roof, and unfortunately, it began leaking the very day it was installed. It’s one thing for a warranty to exist, but quite another for the company to not honor it – which is exactly what happened. Benjamin and his company have completely disappeared, ignoring all our calls and messages. We’re left with damaged floors and a leaking roof, and frankly, we feel completely let down and embarrassed by the whole situation.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly frustrated with Roofing USA. I hired them back in November 2015 to completely re-roof my house, and from the very beginning, I felt like I wasn’t being kept in the loop. I specifically asked to see the work being done and to have it documented with photos, especially to ensure the wood was properly addressed. They assured me this would happen, but I received no updates until the job was finished, and not a single photo was taken during the process. Then, after the first snowfall, we started experiencing terrible leaks, and water was still pooling despite their claims about proper drainage. They redid the roof completely in early 2016, but again, I wasn't shown any progress and received no documentation. They even botched the sealing of one of the swamp coolers, and now the winterizer sheet doesn’t fit properly. I’ve called repeatedly over the years, but I’m always just passed off to the owners who never return my calls. It's now August 2018, and the problem remains unresolved. I ended up having to hire a handyman to fix the leaks properly the first time. Honestly, I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of their work, the lack of communication, and the complete absence of customer service. I worry about the potential for mold growth due to these ongoing leaks, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.” report abuse

  “I contacted Roofing USA last Wednesday to get an estimate for a potential roof replacement. I’d already received bids from a couple of well-established Albuquerque contractors with great reputations, but I was drawn in by their positive reviews on HomeAdvisor. Unfortunately, the experience with the owner was really disappointing. He presented himself in a way that was incredibly unprofessional – it was like he hadn’t showered, and the smell was really off-putting. To add to that, his bid was significantly higher than the others, and when I pointed that out, he immediately accused me of being concerned about unlicensed contractors trying to take advantage of me. Honestly, it felt like he was trying to intimidate me. It just reinforced my feeling that he wasn’t a trustworthy professional. I thanked him for his time and promptly discarded his bid.” report abuse

  Honestly, this was a really frustrating experience. I reached out hoping to get an estimate, but it seemed like my attempts to connect with the office went nowhere – the online form didn’t get a reply, and I ended up waiting for an hour without anyone showing up for my scheduled appointment. It’s disappointing when things don't go as planned, and the fact that they initially said I wasn’t scheduled added to the confusion.   “I would absolutely not recommend hiring this roofer. The roof has a significant issue – it’s been leaking for five years – and because I’m not the original homeowner, the warranty isn’t transferable. Worse, the roofer I spoke with didn’t seem to know anything about the initial inspection when I bought the house.
