I’m incredibly frustrated with this roofing company. I had a new roof installed back in October 2013, and since then I’ve experienced a leak every single year. Initially, the team was helpful, but after the third time they completely ignored my concerns, the stain from the leak had dried up. They then tried to blame the existing stain on me! It’s absolutely ridiculous. Despite offering a great warranty, they haven’t actually done anything to fix their faulty work. A seven-year warranty is useless when they won’t address the ongoing leaks. Frankly, their workmanship is terrible, and I strongly advise anyone considering hiring them to think very carefully. There are other companies out there who do a better job and actually stand behind their work. I’m currently dealing with a new leak directly over our bed, and I'm determined to get this resolved.

“I’m so pleased with the work we did – it’s truly outstanding! They were incredibly friendly and professional with my family during the roof installation, and the finished product, a beautiful patrician bronze roof with a 40-year warranty, is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t be happier.”

Roofing USA, and specifically Ben, presented a concerning experience. While he was persuasive and provided a detailed explanation of his roof design, the final result was deeply flawed. The work was primarily done by a team of Spanish-speaking workers with very little oversight from Ben himself, and we quickly discovered significant defects. Most seriously, they replaced our original, properly sized drainage canales with much shorter ones that directed rainwater directly onto our bedroom windows, leading to a major leak that ruined our ceiling and flooring. Despite our concerns, Ben insisted the shorter canales were the correct design, even though they were clearly not standard. After just a couple of months, the roof started leaking badly, and after a week of waiting for a response, they admitted the warranty wouldn't cover the damage, despite it being a direct result of their poor workmanship. They eventually rectified the issues, replacing the canals and fixing the skylight, but the entire situation was incredibly frustrating and delayed. Unfortunately, they then disappeared altogether, filing for bankruptcy shortly after. They’ve since reopened, but based on our experience, we strongly advise against using them. It’s crucial to choose a roofing company with a solid track record and reliable customer service – getting a recommendation from a trusted source is undoubtedly the best way to ensure a positive outcome. We ended up paying over $1,000 out of pocket to cover the repairs after the initial installation failed.

I am incredibly disappointed with this experience. We invested over $16,000 in a brand new roof, and it immediately started leaking. To make matters worse, the company, run by Benjamin, has completely vanished – they haven’t responded to any of our calls. We’re left with damaged wood floors and a roof that’s a total failure. It’s a truly shocking situation and frankly, a company that should be held accountable for its terrible workmanship and lack of responsibility.

I’m incredibly frustrated with Roofing USA. I hired them back in November 2015 to completely re-roof my house, and from the very beginning, I made it clear I wanted to see each step of the work, particularly to ensure the underlying wood was properly addressed. They assured me they’d show me the progress and provide written documentation with photos. But nothing ever came of it – I wasn’t contacted until the job was finished, and there weren’t a single photo or document to back anything up. Then, after the first snowfall, I discovered massive leaks throughout my house! Despite their claims about proper sloping and drainage, water was still pooling everywhere. They completely re-roofed it again in early 2016, and again, I wasn't given any updates or shown the work. They even hastily sealed one of the swamp coolers, which now prevents the winterizer sheet from fitting correctly. Since then, I’ve continued to experience leaks into my light fixtures every time it rains. I’ve called repeatedly over the years, but I’m constantly told the owners are busy and haven’t followed up. Now, it's August 2018, and I still haven’t heard from them. I ended up having to hire a handyman to fix the issues properly the first time around. Honestly, the whole experience has been incredibly disappointing – with subpar materials, a false warranty, and completely unprofessional customer service. These leaks are a serious concern, potentially leading to mold growth, and my tenants could certainly consider legal action due to this ongoing problem.

Roofing USA was a really disappointing experience. I contacted them on Wednesday to get an estimate for a re-roofing project, and while their online reviews on HomeAdvisor had initially drawn me in, I ended up going with them as a third option. Unfortunately, the owner who came to my house was incredibly unprofessional – he smelled strongly and appeared disheveled. When I pointed out that his quote was significantly higher than the bids I’d received from other, more established Albuquerque contractors, he immediately accused me of being concerned about unlicensed work. Honestly, his demeanor and appearance made me think he was the kind of contractor I was trying to avoid. I politely thanked him for his time and promptly discarded his bid.

Honestly, this was a really frustrating experience. I reached out hoping to get an estimate, but it seemed like my attempts to connect were completely ignored – I never received a response to the online form and despite scheduling an appointment, the contractor never showed up. It’s disappointing after they’d done some work for me years ago and seemed confident in their previous job. It seems like communication and follow-through are major issues with this company, and I’ve decided to move on.

Ben did a fantastic job – he thoroughly checked the roof, explained exactly what needed to be done, and then completed the work quickly and with a really professional touch. I’d definitely recommend him if you’re looking for someone reliable and efficient.

I wouldn’t recommend hiring this roofer. I got a quote after a five-year-old roof started leaking, and since I’m not the original homeowner, the warranty isn’t transferable. The roofer I spoke with didn’t seem to know anything about the original inspection, which was really concerning. I wouldn’t give them a single star.

“I was really impressed with the service – the owners were incredibly kind, honest, and clearly knowledgeable about their work. As a member of Angies List, I always look for quality, and this definitely delivered. It’s not just about pleasant smells, which is important to some, but about getting the job done right.”
