Honestly, I was really disappointed with this shop. I took my fish house frame in at the beginning of September, and they initially said they could weld a drop-down part, estimating about 1.5 to 2 weeks. But every time I checked in, I kept getting told it would be another two weeks. After waiting nearly two and a half months, I finally spoke to the owner, who promised it would be finished in two weeks – he really emphasized that it would be done. However, the frame still hadn't been touched when I picked it up on November 3rd. The owner was apologetic, but it felt like he wasn’t taking my concerns seriously at all, and there was no real effort to find out what was going on. If you need something done quickly, I’d strongly recommend going somewhere else.

I was really disappointed with my experience with Alex Iron and Metals. I contacted them to get a quote for a steel staircase for a commercial building, and they asked me to send over the plans. After a week of waiting, I followed up and was told the owner wasn’t interested in the job – he apparently felt he didn't want to do the work. Honestly, the lack of communication and the unprofessional way he explained it, especially after being recommended by two people, was incredibly frustrating.

“I was really happy with the service – they were prompt, professional, and got the job done quickly and at a great price. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.”
-
“I’ve used them a few times for custom metalwork and repairs, and they’re always really reliable. They’re great at getting things done quickly and at a fair price – I’ve had them weld and fix up some basic metal projects for me.”
-
“Overall, I was really pleased with the service – it was quick, affordable, and the work was done well.”
-
You were really easy to work with and clearly understood exactly what I was looking for.
