  Carl was fantastic – he really took the time to understand our vision and patiently walked us through every step of creating the plans for our new home.   Sandy and Sylvia want to wholeheartedly recommend Oasis Homes of Almont. After a really frustrating experience with other manufactured home builders – one that wouldn’t let us customize anything and another that just ignored us – we were hesitant to trust anyone new. But Oasis Homes turned out to be a fantastic experience. From the start, Raney and Carl in the office were incredibly helpful, providing us with detailed information and guiding us through the whole process. What really set them apart was their willingness to work with our vision. We were able to change floor plans and make the house truly our own, and they expertly handled everything from permits and coordinating with other contractors to ensuring the best possible placement on our land. They took the time to listen to our concerns and made sure we were happy with every detail, from the flooring to the windows and everything in between. It was clear they genuinely wanted to create the dream home we envisioned, and thankfully, they delivered. Thanks to Oasis Homes, our dream became a reality! report abuse

  Honestly, our experience with this company was incredibly disappointing. We were really excited about the prospect of a home through Oasis Homes, but unfortunately, the representative we spoke with made it very clear we weren't a priority. They seemed completely uninterested, almost overly focused on the high cost of the property, and ultimately brushed off our serious interest by saying we could call back in the summer. That felt like a complete stall and a really unprofessional approach – kicking the decision down the road for six to eight months. It’s simply irrational and flawed. I’ve seen a few other reviewers mention similar issues with the same representative, and it leads me to believe this might be a systemic problem with the company’s customer service. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time with Oasis Homes. report abuse

From start to finish, their team was incredibly professional – always keeping us well-informed, responsive, and addressing our needs quickly. Everything, including the blueprints, selections, and costs, perfectly aligned with our original agreement. We especially want to thank Carl, Deena, Jennifer, Kelle, and Christine for their genuinely caring and efficient work; they truly went above and beyond, answering all our questions and resolving any issues with such a supportive and family-like approach.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience. Honestly, it was the worst customer service I’ve ever received. The initial interaction, particularly with Stephanie Zimmer, was completely lacking any understanding of what good customer service actually means. I was so frustrated that I decided not to proceed with working with this company. I initially submitted a form and didn’t hear back, so I called, and while the person on the phone seemed genuine about the sales team being busy with training, I waited for a callback. Within a half hour, I received an email from Stephanie asking for detailed information, which I promptly responded to. However, the final email she sent was really rude and felt unnecessarily condescending – I didn’t appreciate her phrasing at all. This company needs to seriously invest in customer service training and ensure their employees understand how to communicate professionally. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this was a terrible start. I’ll be going elsewhere for my business. report abuse

  Honestly, building this home has been a dream come true. For years, I’d pictured myself with a beautiful house overlooking Lake Huron, and I finally made it happen with a modular home from Oasis Homes. From the start, I was really impressed with the modular process – the idea of building in a climate-controlled environment just made sense. I started with a rough sketch, and Carl Hartman was incredible. He really listened to everything I wanted, and he worked with me through so many revisions, never dismissing any idea. The final design is absolutely stunning, far beyond what I initially imagined. Christine Bouford was also a huge help, especially since I was new to this whole process. She expertly guided me through the choices, always keeping my budget in mind. I even traveled to Indiana to see the house as it was being built, and it was fascinating to watch the construction firsthand. Seeing the quality of the work was incredibly reassuring. Kelle Finn, our project manager, kept me constantly informed, and Raney Miracle was fantastic at handling all the permitting – she was a true champion! It wasn't always easy – the building site presented some real challenges – but we got it done, and I was so excited to see it finally in place on New Year’s Day 2015. Everyone who’s seen it has commented on how beautiful and well-built it is, and I know I’ll be incredibly proud of this home for years to come. report abuse

  Overall, we’re really pleased with our new home. The build took a little longer than expected, but it was completely down to unforeseen circumstances and not the builder’s fault at all. They were fantastic throughout the whole process, keeping us constantly updated and willing to make changes as needed. report abuse

  “I spoke with Stephanie about our project, and unfortunately, she wasn’t able to accommodate our budget. She quoted us $350,000 for a 1,600 square foot home without a basement or garage, which seems significantly higher than what we’ve been hearing from other contractors – one offered a much lower price with a garage. I followed up to discuss staying within our budget, but I haven’t received a return call.” report abuse
