Overall, I had a really positive experience with this company. They were incredibly responsive to my questions and I was really pleased with the door itself. I compared it to a similar one from another seller, but ultimately decided to go with this company and I wasn't let down at all. The delivery was surprisingly fast – it arrived from California to Kentucky in just one week! The only thing to be aware of is that it’s a heavy door (700lbs), so you’ll definitely need a truck with a lift gate to get it off the delivery truck. My contractor and husband were able to install it quickly, in about two hours, since it was being hung before the drywall. It’s great that we were able to put it up in time for our new construction project. I even posted a picture on Facebook and it got a lot of attention – my friends loved it, and my contractor has already gotten a request for one just like it! Just a couple of small things to note: it didn’t come with screws for mounting, so you’ll need to purchase those separately, and there weren't any instructions included. Luckily, my husband was able to find some helpful online resources to guide the installation.

I was really impressed with Iron Doors Now! I’d been searching for an iron door online and decided to take a chance with them – and I’m so glad I did. They were fantastic to work with, answering all my questions quickly and efficiently. I placed my order on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday, thanks to Patrick and his team. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a fast and reliable service.

“We’re absolutely thrilled with the door – the quality is fantastic! My contractor found the installation really easy, which was a huge relief. Honestly, I can see why someone without a contractor might find it a bit daunting to arrange an installation, especially since it was a custom size. Given the tight timeline for our remodel and the fact we didn’t get iron capping, I wouldn’t hesitate to use IDN again for future door needs. I even recommended the site to a few friends, and I wanted to point out that their stock doors ship much faster than custom ones. A big thanks to Pat for handling the pressure – we really appreciate it! Everyone loves the door, and the finishing touches are still underway, but it’s already a beautiful addition to the house.”

I absolutely love this door – it’s fantastic quality and looks stunning. The shipping crate was incredibly well-made and really protected the door during transit. I also want to give a huge shout-out to the customer service team; they were fantastic, keeping me updated throughout the whole process and ensuring I was completely satisfied. Honestly, couldn’t recommend this door or the company more!

I had a really frustrating experience with their customer service. I called to inquire about a door and they immediately took down my details, saying they’d email me some pricing. When I then called back to actually place an order, they kept trying to email me again. It felt like nobody actually wanted to talk to me and answer my questions – one representative even started laughing and just hung up. Honestly, that completely turned me off and made me think twice about buying from this company.

“I was a little nervous investing that much money in a door I hadn’t seen in person, but I’m so glad I took the chance and ordered from Iron Doors Now. The door is fantastic – not only the best price I found, but it’s incredibly well-made and absolutely stunning! Seriously, you should definitely call and talk to Patrick; he was great to work with.”
-
“We absolutely love the new front door – it’s really finished off the whole design we’ve done for the front of the house. They were fantastic to work with, and we were really impressed with how securely it was delivered, all packed up from across the country. It looks fantastic and feels incredibly strong, we just love it!”

Patrick was incredibly difficult to deal with. From the very first interaction, he seemed dismissive and frankly, quite rude. He immediately started grilling me about my door size before even letting me look at any of the options – I simply asked if I could visit the showroom first to get a sense of what I liked, but he responded as if I was requesting a private dinner with royalty! When I then asked about seeing the showroom, he insisted it was only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 2, a time that’s completely impossible for most people to fit into their schedules. It felt like he was deliberately trying to discourage me, and his response about working 60 hours a week was completely out of touch. Honestly, it was clear he didn't value my time or business. I’m so glad I walked away – there are plenty of companies out there who actually appreciate their customers. My advice is to take your time and do your research before committing to a purchase.

“I’m absolutely thrilled with my new double iron doors – they arrived from California perfectly intact! They’re fantastic quality and incredibly well-insulated; I’m actually sitting comfortably inside right now, even though it’s 25 degrees outside.”

Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the text: “My experience with this company was unfortunately quite negative. While the salesperson, Patrick, was keen to close the deal, he seemed rushed and didn't take the time to answer my questions about the product. Honestly, I felt he wasn't patient enough. It’s really important to have someone knowledgeable available to address your concerns, and I didn't find that here. If you’re prepared for a potentially rushed and impatient sales experience, then perhaps this company might be a fit. I’d definitely recommend reading reviews on Yelp before making a decision.”
