“I’ve been really pleased with our collaboration with Forge over the past year. Ben and his team have been fantastic to work with – they’ve communicated clearly and professionally throughout all our septic projects. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing engineering services.”

Forge really dropped the ball on our holding tank replacement project. It seemed like they just went through the motions, relying heavily on outdated paperwork and didn’t seem to fully consider the current design or building codes. We ended up with plans that simply didn’t work, and it took us three separate “design” revisions to get the Muni to approve them. Our contractor had to do a huge amount of rework mid-project because of the initial problems, and honestly, we’re still dealing with the fallout six months later. They didn’t seem to offer any real engineering expertise or collaboration – just a quick stamp on old documents. The only reason I can give them any credit is that Ben, one of the team members, generously reduced their fees to try and compensate for the significant issues they caused.

“As the owner building my first home in Anchorage, I was really pleased with Forge. They provided the most competitive quote, delivered everything exactly on time, and – crucially – got the septic design approved through permitting on the first try. Ben was fantastic to work with; he was incredibly responsive and communicated really well, which was a huge relief considering how often communication can be challenging in the construction world. I’d absolutely recommend Forge for any future projects.”

“I’ve been incredibly pleased with Forge Engineering’s work over the last 2.5 years. They handled the subdivision of two lots and the construction of my house with a real sense of urgency when I needed it, and they were always very responsive. I especially appreciated their help navigating the complex permit process with the city – it was a huge relief having them take care of that for me. I’ll absolutely be using their services again for any future engineering projects, and I want to thank everyone at Forge for bringing my projects to a successful completion.”

“I’ve been incredibly pleased with Ben and his team’s work. Their expertise in septic system engineering and certification – that’s really the only area I’ve had experience with through Forge – has been outstanding. They’ve been exceptionally responsive, efficient, and willing to adapt to my needs, particularly during the recent septic tank swap-out and now with the COSA certification process as we’re preparing to sell.”

“I’ve really enjoyed working with Ben and the team at Forge Engineering. Ben’s a fantastic communicator – he’s always incredibly responsive, answers my questions completely, and explains things in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand, regardless of their technical background.”

Honestly, I’m incredibly disappointed with the work this company did on our new septic system. We bought our first home last October, and were relieved to discover the septic needed attention – but what followed was a complete disaster. Once the snow melted, we found a massive three-foot drop in the middle of our driveway, making it nearly impossible to use. They also left the front lawn completely torn up. We contacted them hoping they could simply level it out so we could hire a landscaping company to finish the job, but they flatly refused, saying it wasn’t in their contract. To make matters worse, both landscaping companies we spoke to said this was the worst septic job they'd ever encountered, especially considering it was done during the winter! It’s a genuinely hazardous situation and frankly, unacceptable. We’re a young family just starting out and this has been a huge setback. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere – they clearly don’t prioritize quality or their clients’ needs.

“Forge Engineering did a fantastic job – they really took the time to explain the project to us and kept us updated throughout the whole process. Their inspectors were also incredibly prompt and professional.”

“Ben has consistently been a really valuable resource for us over the years – we’ve appreciated his assistance multiple times and wanted to express our sincere gratitude.”
