“I’ve really enjoyed working with Ben and the team at Forge over the past year on our land survey projects. They’ve been fantastic – consistently communicative, professional, and a genuine pleasure to collaborate with. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing engineering services.”

Forge really dropped the ball on our septic tank replacement. While they seem to do well with simpler projects, our experience was a complete disaster. It felt like they just went through the motions, relying heavily on outdated paperwork and ignoring any modern design considerations or current building codes. We ended up with three separate “design” revisions just to get the Muni to approve the work, and our contractor had to constantly make changes mid-project – leading to mistakes and a huge headache that’s still impacting us six months later. Honestly, if you’re looking for a qualified engineer who will properly assess your site, offer thoughtful design solutions, and collaborate with your contractor, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The only positive I can offer is that Ben, one of the team members, generously waived most of their fees to try and compensate for the significant issues we faced.

“As the owner building my first home in Anchorage, I was really pleased with Forge. They provided the most competitive quote, delivered everything on time, and even got the septic design approved through permitting on the first try – a huge relief! Ben was fantastic to work with and kept me really well-informed, which was a welcome change compared to some of my experiences in the construction industry. I’d absolutely recommend them for any future projects.”

“I’d highly recommend Forge Engineering – I’ve used their services for the last 2.5 years on two separate projects, including subdividing land and building a new house, and then selling a property with a septic issue. Throughout everything, they were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to get things done quickly when I needed it. They really took the hassle out of dealing with the city permits, which was a huge relief for me. I’ll absolutely be using them again for any future engineering needs – thanks to Forge, my projects were successfully completed.”

“I’ve been incredibly pleased with Ben and his team’s work. They’re fantastic when it comes to septic system engineering and certification – that’s really all I needed to know about Forge. They were so responsive, efficient, and willing to work with my needs, especially when we did the septic tank swap out last year and are now going through the COSA certification process for the sale.”

Ben and the team at Forge Engineering have been fantastic to work with. Ben is particularly responsive and clear – he always gets back to me quickly, answers my questions completely, and explains things in a way that’s easy for anyone to understand, regardless of their technical background.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the work this company did on our new home’s septic system and yard. We bought our first house last October and were initially relieved to discover the septic needed work, but what followed was a complete disaster. Once the snow melted, we realized the job was shockingly poor – there’s a huge three-foot drop in the middle of our driveway, making it nearly impossible to use. They also completely ripped up our front lawn. We contacted them to ask if they could just level the yard so we could hire a landscaping company to finish the job, but they flatly refused, saying it wasn't in their contract. We’ve gotten quotes from two other landscaping companies, and they’ve both told us this is the worst septic job they’ve ever encountered, especially considering it was done during the winter. It’s left us with a hazardous situation and a huge financial burden, especially since we just bought our first home. Honestly, I wanted to warn anyone considering this company – they clearly don’t care about quality or their clients. We’re really frustrated and hoping for a better outcome for our young family.

Forge Engineering really went above and beyond to keep me informed throughout the entire project and ensured everything was finished exactly as planned. Their inspectors were consistently reliable and did a great job.
-
Ben has been a consistently valuable resource for us over the years – we really appreciate his support.
