  I was absolutely thrilled with the work Alaska Marble and Granite did on my new quartz vanity. Yamaly was fantastic – so patient and helpful as I worked through the design process. The entire team was professional, skilled, and did a truly outstanding job measuring and installing it in my home.   AMG was fantastic to work with – they really delivered! I approached them with a specific vision: to replicate their custom bear wall mount and explore using some of the stone for end tables. Yamely and their team were incredibly helpful, offering brilliant ideas to best showcase the stone's natural beauty and maximize its use. They also provided a very realistic timeline for the custom fabrication. What really stood out was the excellent communication; they had me come in to double-check the dimensions before they started cutting, ensuring everything was perfect. The fabrication team did a truly terrific job – I was really impressed. Because of the great experience, I’ve already engaged AMG for my kitchen remodel. report abuse

  Honestly, I was incredibly disappointed with my experience working with Alaska Marble and Granite. While Michel did a fantastic job with the actual fabrication of my countertops, the overall customer service from Yamalee was just unacceptable. I felt completely ignored – my calls went unanswered, and I never received a clear timeline for the installation, which ended up being delayed by six months. To make matters worse, when the countertops were finally completed, they had gotten the design wrong, forcing me to buy entirely new slabs and then being billed again for the original fabrication. Adding to the frustration, despite numerous discussions about my kitchen goals, Yamalee kept raising issues with a simple mitered edge, leading to another six-week delay to correct the problem. It was clear there was a serious lack of accountability and professionalism throughout the entire process, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice. report abuse

  Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with the granite replacement Yamaly and her team did for us. Our kitchen renovation was a huge undertaking with so many contractors involved, but they were absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond, truly understanding our needs and exceeding our expectations for customer service. They were incredibly helpful and communicative, especially given our tight deadline – not only did they meet it, but they supported us every step of the way.   “I couldn’t recommend Alaska Marble and Granite more highly! We’ve used them for several projects now, and they’ve consistently gone above and beyond. They recently did our countertops – including removing the old ones and installing the new – and the whole experience was fantastic. It was a bit challenging with current supply chain issues, but they were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. They have a really impressive selection, and the customer service and installers were truly top-notch. Yamely was so helpful and really took the time to understand what I was looking for – she found the perfect quartz for my kitchen counters and island.   Overall, I had a really positive experience working with Alaska Marble and Granite. They’re a fantastic local business, and I especially appreciated how helpful and easy-going Yamely was to work with. Michael did a fantastic job with the installation – the fit and caulking are absolutely perfect. We were really pleased with the selection of materials they offered, and the whole process, from measurement to installation, took just two weeks, which was great.
