  “I cannot recommend AK Quality Gutters. As a general contractor, I got an estimate for gutters on a new build, and it seemed reasonable, so I scheduled with them. However, they called just before installation to tell me they needed an extra several hundred dollars – they couldn’t give me a specific reason for the increase. This was a huge waste of my time and has now put me in the difficult position of having to cover those unexpected costs if I want to get the gutters installed. Seriously, buyer beware – they didn’t stick to their original quote or their promised timeline.” report abuse

  I was really disappointed with the quality of work on this project. Considering the scope, I expected a much more thorough and careful approach. There were noticeable gaps around the gutters and fascia, and the installation lacked the proper metal and sealant to prevent water buildup and icicles. As a result, we now have water pooling in the middle of the run. Unfortunately, things went from bad to worse when I tried to address the issue with the company. Their adjuster made some frankly rude and disparaging comments about me to a neighbor, and I wasn’t aware of it until afterward. Honestly, given my physical limitations at 71, I wasn't willing to continue dealing with this. I took matters into my own hands and completed the repairs myself. If you value quality workmanship and don’t want to deal with unprofessional behavior, I strongly recommend choosing a different company than Quality Gutter and Remodeling. report abuse
