“Overall, I’m really pleased with this store. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the prices are good. They consistently stock a wide range of hardware, tools, and specialty items – I was able to find exactly what I needed today, a 30amp generator extension cord. It’s great to know they might have winter gloves in stock tomorrow too!”

“They really delivered what I was looking for, and the service was fantastic too.”

“I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Manager Nick. He was fantastic – genuinely helpful, friendly, and really went the extra mile to ensure I was taken care of. It’s so refreshing to experience such attentive service, especially when things are busy, and I truly appreciate his efforts.”

“I had a really frustrating experience here. The checkout took over fifteen minutes because the system seemed incredibly complicated – it involved a lot of unnecessary steps and couldn’t easily locate the heaters. Then, after needing only two weeks, I had to return one of the heaters unopened, and the return process itself was a nightmare. It took a manager and multiple staff members a good amount of time to handle, with one even leaving for lunch mid-transaction. They ended up manually inputting my information, adding another ten minutes to the ordeal. Honestly, the customer service was absolutely terrible, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.”

“I recently visited this new store and was really disappointed with my experience. The TVs near the front were constantly playing the same video with a two-second delay, and the volume would fluctuate wildly, making it impossible to understand the cashier. She apologized, but it quickly became clear she was also bothered by the noise and had already raised the issue with the manager, who seemed to be just passing the problem onto the employees and customers. It seems like a very simple fix – just muting one of the TVs – but the manager hasn’t addressed it. Honestly, it felt like they were just letting us deal with it, and it’s left me feeling really let down. I’m now hesitant to return; my experiences with AIH have unfortunately become increasingly disappointing.”

“This place is fantastic – they really have everything you could want, with a great selection of both standard and custom items. The store is also very well-kept and bright, which makes a big difference. My only slight concern is that it seems a little understaffed, and it’s often difficult to find an open assistant, but the prices are reasonable.”

“This store is a really interesting mix – it’s got the selection of tools you’d find at Harbor Freight, but with a more upscale feel and a good range of woodworking supplies, including dust collection equipment. Prices can be a little higher than you’d expect from a big box store, but the variety they offer definitely makes up for it. Just be aware that they tend to close up around 7 pm on weekdays.”

Honestly, my experience with AIH was incredibly frustrating. I was trying to get a simple replacement for a cheap drill pump, and the guy behind the counter just told me to contact the manufacturer – which I’ve had bad experiences with in the past when dealing with Proto Tools warranties. Given my history with them, and the fact I just spent $400 on a Stihl chainsaw that I’m already skeptical they’ll back, I’m seriously considering this to be my last purchase from them. It feels like they only care about large businesses and don't value regular customers like myself, and their prices are way too high to begin with.

“The Seward location by the Dimond Mall is definitely the largest, which is good. However, I’ve found the service a little inconsistent – I often have to call the other location to check stock, and they rarely confirm if an item is available over the phone. Otherwise, it’s a great store.”
-
“Honestly, their selection of larger industrial hardware – things like oversized nuts – is pretty limited. I was specifically looking for items over an inch in diameter with more robust threads, and it was very difficult to find anything suitable. Staff confirmed they don’t typically stock those kinds of parts.”
