  I can’t recommend CGC and owner Matt highly enough. I found them through a maintenance worker at my office, and I’m so incredibly grateful he gave me his contact information. We had a really tough situation when our hot water heater went out in February 2023 – it was a massive inconvenience, but Matt and his team were fantastic. They responded so quickly, offered some really good advice on getting a replacement, and had us back up and running within just a week. Then, just a few months later, in November, our furnace died right before my wife was due to have the baby! Again, Matt and his team were amazing, diagnosing the problem quickly and getting a new furnace installed in days. They’ve handled a whole range of issues for us, from replacing the hot water heater and furnace to fixing waterline problems. Everyone – from Matt himself to the whole team – is professional, hardworking, genuinely customer-focused, and just really kind. Matt’s always been incredibly helpful in finding solutions and ensuring we get a fair price, even when things don't go exactly as planned.   We’ve been really pleased with CGC Services – we’ve used them for a few different jobs, including fixing some leaks and routine maintenance on our Lochinvar boilers. Matt got us scheduled quickly when both boilers needed service this past week, and Curtis, the plumber who came out, was fantastic. He was punctual, friendly, and really respectful of our home. He finished the boiler maintenance much faster than we anticipated and even cleaned the boiler room spotless.   CGC Plumbing did an absolutely fantastic job with our laundry room and bathroom remodel! We had a persistent leak from old copper pipes that was proving really tricky to fix, and they not only took care of the immediate problem but also completely replumbed a lot of corroded pipes inside our wall. They really went the extra mile helping us get our bathroom – tub and shower – fully remodeled. Honestly, the quality of their work was outstanding; they were incredibly detail-oriented, provided top-notch customer service, and the price was very reasonable.   “I was incredibly impressed with CGC Services, particularly Matt Klebs and Jared, after a major water issue caused significant damage to my 4plex in Anchorage last January. A frozen and burst water line took out four furnaces and two water heaters – it was a really stressful situation, especially with the below-zero temperatures and insurance initially refusing portable heaters. Matt’s team stepped in and provided temporary heaters for the basement and my tenants, which was a huge relief. The repair took over two weeks, and I really appreciated Matt and Jared’s constant coordination with other contractors to get everything sorted. Even more surprisingly, after the initial repair, we started experiencing groundwater problems – likely a consequence of the water damage. CGC responded quickly, checking in on us multiple times, even “on their way home,” just to ensure everything was okay. They were consistently professional, courteous, and flexible with our schedule, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them; I’ll definitely be using them again for any plumbing needs in the future.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received. The crew was unprofessional – they left a mess, including half-eaten lunches, and even broke a lightbulb without cleaning it up. It was frustrating to come home to that situation. Furthermore, they’ve had multiple visits in just three months to address a new furnace installation, which indicates a serious lack of expertise. While I appreciate the effort to clean up the immediate mess, the underlying issues with their workmanship are a major concern. Sadly, I also understand the owner is facing financial difficulties, which further impacts my assessment of their operation. I strongly advise against using their services unless you’re prepared for potential problems and a poorly executed job.” report abuse
