  “I’m incredibly concerned about this company. I witnessed them using a very powerful pressure washer on a nearby house – it was completely unprofessional and frankly alarming. Despite their website’s claims about not using pressure washers, it was clear they were relying on a high-pressure method. I immediately alerted my neighbors about what I saw. Honestly, there’s nothing gentle about their approach, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid them. Furthermore, I found their online communication to be consistently hostile and rude. Please, choose a different contractor – you’ll be protecting your property and avoiding a frustrating experience.” report abuse

Crucially, they don't appear to be properly licensed for their work, which is a significant issue.   “I had a really frustrating experience with moss on my roof, and Mike Kennedy and his team completely turned things around. I met Mike by chance at a Walmart, and he’d been promoting his business. I contacted him because I’d previously hired another company to tackle the problem, but they used a chemical that just left a mess – the moss was still there after eight months! Needless to say, my roof looked terrible while my house was on the market. Mike was fantastic. He explained everything clearly, and to my surprise, his crew arrived the very next day, ahead of schedule! They were incredibly professional, even taking precautions like laying down tarps to protect my landscaping. It was amazing to see the difference – it was like a whole new roof! Honestly, it was night and day compared to the previous company. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike Kennedy and his team; they did exactly what they promised, and I couldn’t be happier.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I’ve received. My mother purchased a yearly roof inspection warranty, but Mike from this company has been completely unresponsive. Frankly, it’s unacceptable. I’m prepared to take further action – I’m more than happy to pursue legal options if he doesn't contact my mother within 10 days to resolve this.   “I’m really disappointed with Moss Boss. I signed a five-year contract, but they consistently failed to deliver on their promises. Despite a preventative treatment in 2022, the moss returned heavily due to the weather that year, and they didn't send anyone out until 2023 – a year where we also had a lot of rain, which likely contributed to the problem. They kept promising to come out, but never actually showed up. I only received four years of service, and now my roof is covered in moss again, worse than before the initial treatment. It seems the product works temporarily, but it’s clearly not a long-term solution. With my contract now over, I’ll need to find a different company to tackle this.” report abuse

  “I was really disappointed with this service. The owner was consistently unresponsive to my messages and, when I tried to speak with him directly, he became rude and used inappropriate language. More concerningly, the treatment didn’t seem to have any effect – it worked fine in one area but not another. Because of the poor communication and lack of results, I wouldn’t recommend this company. It’s important to me that a service is reliable and doesn’t rely on subcontractors, and that wasn’t the case here. I have records of my communications to support my concerns.” report abuse

  “I was really impressed with Mike and his team! They responded to my inquiry right away, got me a quote quickly, and scheduled the roof cleaning within a week. The guys who did the work were fantastic – they went above and beyond, staying late to ensure everything was done perfectly. Our roof was in pretty rough shape, but now it looks absolutely brand new! The price was great too, and I’ll definitely be using them again and recommending them to anyone I know.” report abuse
