“I was really pleased with my recent experience ordering screens from Timberline. Shawn and his team were fantastic – they came to my home to measure the windows themselves and were incredibly thorough, taking the time to double-check everything to make sure the measurements were perfect. They were also very polite and professional, explaining the whole fabrication process and offering a good selection of frame colors. The screens fit absolutely beautifully, look great with the windows, and best of all, I can enjoy fresh air without worrying about bugs! The cost was also surprisingly reasonable. Thanks again to Shawn and his staff for such a pleasant and easy experience.”

“I had Timberline create a couple of custom door frames for my new house, and I’m really disappointed with the results. Frankly, for the price I paid – $500 for one frame – it felt like a complete rip-off. The frames themselves were shockingly basic, and multiple people, including my finish carpenter, have pointed out how poorly they were constructed. It’s just not acceptable, especially in a brand new home. I was even advised to have them redone! Adding to the frustration, the doors were delivered a month late, and the customer service was incredibly difficult. The receptionist was strangely offended when I asked for a receipt, handing me a hastily scribbled note instead. Honestly, I feel like I wasted a significant amount of money, and I wouldn’t recommend Timberline for custom door frames. If you’re looking for quality work, you’re better off going with an experienced carpenter who will give you real value for your money.”

I was incredibly disappointed with my experience ordering custom doors from Timberline Millwork back in 2010. After a significant delay – nearly a month beyond the original delivery date – the doors finally arrived, and the quality was shockingly poor. The window trim didn’t match, the caulking was terrible, and the hardware was incomplete and mismatched. Even worse, after the doors were installed, the sealant started peeling away from the windows, creating a huge mess and ruining the finish I’d paid for. It took multiple complaints to get someone from the company to acknowledge their mistake, and then they completely retracted their admission of fault and promised repair under warranty. It felt like they weren't taking my concerns seriously at any point. As someone who’s lived in Anchorage for fifteen years and tries to support local businesses, I’m truly let down by the lack of service I received. I won't be going back to Timberline Millwork.

“I contacted Timberline because I was having trouble with both my window and door – the latch, lock, and handle were both giving me issues. I wasn’t sure what the best course of action was. I really appreciate that they connected me with someone who could help me without suggesting I have to replace the entire window or door. That kind of helpful, neighborly service really speaks volumes about a company’s values, and I want to thank you for providing it!”

Honestly, our experience with this company was incredibly frustrating. We initially tried to get a quote for window screens, but the customer service was really abrupt – we were immediately directed to fill out a form. After requesting an email copy, the form was simply ignored. We followed up with a quote request, and again, received no response. After waiting nine days, we finally spoke with a representative who was dismissive and focused on details about screen clips and measurements. Despite providing the measurements clearly in an email, they insisted we resubmit everything through their form. It felt like a complete waste of time and effort, and it’s clear their customer service isn't great. We ended up looking elsewhere for our window replacements, unfortunately.

I was really pleased with the recent window installation – five new windows were installed and they look fantastic! The service was excellent, the windows themselves are great quality, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be using them again when I’m ready to have the rest of my windows installed.

“We’ve been consistently impressed with Timberline – they’ve always delivered fantastic quality on our custom doors and windows.”

This seems to be a serious warning – a real concern about significant environmental issues. It highlights the presence of mold, ice, and fog, and emphasizes the importance of avoiding windows to prevent their damage. It’s a straightforward, urgent message.

Shawn consistently delivered exceptional service – he was incredibly thorough from start to finish, and everything was exactly as ordered. I’ve used him on three separate projects now, and the results have been fantastic every time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and would gladly provide a reference if needed.

“Communication was a real challenge – it took months to get what I needed and they never bothered to let me know when my orders were ready. The good news is, at least the door installation went smoothly.”
