“I was really pleased with my recent experience ordering doors from Timberline. The doors themselves were fantastic – solid core, 6 panel, and excellent quality. Plus, the service was top-notch and they delivered everything right on time. What really stood out was their willingness to accommodate my vintage milk glass door knobs; they took the time to set them up perfectly, ensuring a beautiful final result. I’ll definitely be using Timberline for any future door needs.” report abuse

“I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Timberline! I really appreciated their service – I upgraded to an electronic lock system, which I was able to completely customize to my taste. They were incredibly responsive and it only took two weeks to get exactly what I wanted. They also took care of replacing two window screens for us, measuring and installing them quickly so we could enjoy our Alaskan summer without the bugs!” report abuse

“I recently ordered screens from Timberline and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Shawn and his team were fantastic – he came to my home to measure the windows himself, and he was incredibly thorough, taking the time to make sure everything was perfect. He was also really polite and professional, clearly explaining the whole fabrication process and offering a great selection of frame colors. The screens fit absolutely beautifully, really enhancing the look of my windows, and best of all, I can finally enjoy fresh air without worrying about bugs! And to top it all off, the price was incredibly reasonable. Thanks again to Shawn and his staff for such a pleasant and stress-free experience.” report abuse

“I was really disappointed with my experience with Timberline. I ordered a couple of custom door frames, and frankly, the finished product was shockingly basic, especially considering the price I paid – $500 for one frame. Multiple people, including my installer and my carpenter, told me it felt like a ‘hack job,’ and my carpenter even estimated he could have done a better job for $100. It's completely unacceptable in a new home. To top it off, the doors were delivered a month late. And the customer service was poor; the receptionist seemed annoyed when I asked for a receipt and handed me a hastily written note. I feel like I wasted a significant amount of money, and I wouldn’t recommend Timberline for custom door frames – you’re better off finding an experienced carpenter who will deliver quality work.” report abuse

I was incredibly disappointed with my experience ordering custom doors from Timberline Millwork back in 2010. After a significant delay – nearly a month beyond the initially promised delivery – the doors finally arrived, and the quality was shockingly poor. The window trim didn’t match, the caulking was terrible, and the hardware was completely messed up. Even worse, after the doors were installed, the sealant started spreading away from the windows, creating a huge mess and ruining the finish I’d paid for. It was incredibly frustrating to deal with, and while a company representative eventually admitted they were at fault and agreed to honor the warranty, a second representative later retracted that admission. Throughout the whole process, I felt like I was getting the runaround, and they simply didn't follow through on their promises. As someone who’s always tried to support local businesses in Anchorage – where I’ve lived for about fifteen years – I can honestly say I’ll never do business with Timberline Millwork again. report abuse

“I contacted Timberline because I was having trouble with both my window and door – the latch, lock, and handle were just not working properly. I really appreciated that they connected me with someone who could help me figure out a solution without immediately suggesting costly replacements. That kind of support felt incredibly neighborly and demonstrated a really valuable approach, and I wanted to thank them for it!” report abuse

“I had a really frustrating experience trying to get a quote for window screens. After being given a brusque instruction to fill out a form, I asked for it to be emailed to me. Despite doing so, my emails requesting a quote were completely ignored. I even spoke to the same woman on the phone after waiting nine days, and though we discussed screen clips and measurements, she insisted I had to resubmit everything through their form – just like before. Honestly, the customer service was just not good at all. It’s a shame because we were seriously considering them for window replacements for our home and rental property, but this experience unfortunately made us look elsewhere.” report abuse

“I was really pleased with the service I received when these five new windows were installed. The product quality was excellent, and the team were fantastic – friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be using them again when I’m ready for the rest of my windows!” report abuse

“This area has some serious issues with mold, ice, and fog – it’s a really challenging environment. The windows are in terrible condition and need immediate attention to prevent further damage from these elements.” report abuse
