We started with a conversion of our third-floor space for my brother-in-law, and then later completely remodeled our kitchen – down to the studs! Jef Forward’s creativity was amazing; he really maximized the space and even suggested adding a full bath where we hadn’t thought it possible. We now go straight to Forward Design Build for all our projects. Jef sat down with us to discuss different kitchen layouts and options, and he really listened to our ideas and feedback. Monica Forward, as our office manager, kept us constantly updated on the budget and timeline, and those meetings were always incredibly productive. The whole team – Jef, Monica, and the work crew – were just fantastic – knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely invested in making sure we were happy.   Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience renovating our kitchen and first floor with two young children. From the very beginning, working with Forward Design Build was fantastic. Chad was incredibly attentive and reassuring, and then Carly stepped in to calm any doubts – she was always right! The design process felt truly collaborative, with well-thought-out concepts tailored to our family’s needs. Construction started smoothly, and for a solid month we were ahead of schedule. It was amazing to see Brian’s skill and attention to detail, like when he expertly leveled our ceiling. Of course, the pandemic threw a wrench into things, but Forward handled it brilliantly. Brian and Tim kept us updated and reassured us that they’d resume as soon as possible, and thankfully, they stuck to their commitment – both in terms of price and timeline (aside from the unforeseen circumstances). The whole team – Jon, Brian, Tim, and everyone else – were incredibly respectful of our home and went above and beyond. Jon, in particular, was a gem; he was so helpful, always willing to answer questions and offer advice. It was clear they genuinely cared about getting the job done perfectly. I’d give Forward Design Build a resounding 10/10. As a woman, I sometimes worry about being perceived as demanding, but they were so accommodating and understanding.   Overall, Jef Forward and his team did a fantastic job on our addition. They really transformed the space, especially with the bump-out to the garage and the dining area – the family rooms and kitchen look fantastic now! What impressed us most was not just their professional expertise, but also how well they took care of us as a family. They were incredibly accommodating, readily handled last-minute changes and touch-ups, and always kept us informed. We felt completely safe and secure throughout the process, and we’d definitely recommend Jef and his team for any future building projects. report abuse
