“Remove-a-Pool really stepped up to the plate – they were the only company willing to tackle the unique situation I had. While there were a few unexpected complications that added to the time it took, I really appreciated that they stuck to their original quote and didn’t try to raise the price. They were fantastic to work with, handling everything that came up with such efficiency and professionalism. They truly went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied, and I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome!”

“I was really impressed with Remove A Pool – they did a fantastic job taking out my pool and preparing the space. I’ve spent 15 years managing construction projects for real estate firms, working on sites ranging from an acre to 40 acres, and I knew I wanted to do this backyard project right. After chatting with Remove A Pool, I decided to go with them, and I couldn’t be happier. They were incredibly professional, worked really hard, and seemed to have a really efficient process. They took care of all the permits and paperwork with the inspector, too. I’m so excited to finally have a great yard for my boys to play in this spring!”

“We were really pleased with our experience with Remove A Pool. Despite seeing some lower ratings, we had absolutely fantastic service from Don, Bill, Alan, and Alan’s helper. We started with Don’s consultation earlier in the year, and Bill followed up, which we appreciated. Once we signed on, Alan took over the project, and they removed our pool back in March. Now, four months later, the area is looking great – the grass they seeded has grown in beautifully. What really stood out to us was the team’s dedication to customer service. Don took the time to meet with us himself, Bill was involved, and Alan and his helper did a great job with the work, all while keeping us fully informed. It’s clear they value good communication, and we really appreciated the whole team’s effort – it’s a testament to their commitment to quality.”

Remove A Pool did a fantastic job taking down our old pool! Bill Lopez was incredibly thorough, taking the time to walk us through the entire process and make sure we were completely happy with the quote. The team, Efrain Martinez and Juanito Hernandez, were also fantastic – so polite, professional, and always on time. They kept us updated daily and really took care of our property. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more respectful removal, and they finished the job within a week, including leveling and cleaning. We’ve already recommended them to several friends and a neighbor, and we’re really pleased with the service. If they could offer a premium grass seed option in the future, it would be a great addition!

Kristie and the team were fantastic – truly a pleasure to work with throughout the pool removal. Kristie especially went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and transformed our backyard into the beautiful space we’d been hoping for.

Bill did a fantastic job explaining Remove A Pool’s services to us. He really broke down the permitting process for pool removal in Maryland, and he was incredibly patient and helpful, answering all of our questions thoroughly. We’re still weighing our options, but we were really impressed with his knowledge and willingness to assist, and we’re definitely considering Remove A Pool for this project.

Overall, we were really pleased with Remove a Pool – Don and Jeff were fantastic. We chose them to demolish our pool and they did a great job of taking care of everything, from the demolition itself to moving all the debris and filling in the yard. They were professional, polite, and really went the extra mile, even handling the electrical work for the pool pump and installing a new GFI outlet. However, I do have one concern about the final landscaping. The soil work and seeding didn’t quite turn out as expected, especially with how hot it was the week after they finished. There’s very little grass growing there now, mostly sedge and weeds. Don has assured us they’ll be back to overseed, and we’ll be keeping an eye on that. I’m hoping for a positive resolution, but I’ll be giving Remove a Pool a further review once they’ve addressed the lawn issue.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. While the technicians did a fantastic job removing the old pool and leveling the area, the final result was unacceptable. The lawn simply wasn’t established – you really can’t expect seed to grow successfully in Texas without proper preparation – and I’m now facing an additional expense of $800 to $1000 to get sod in. To add to the frustration, they also damaged my neighbor’s yard, and I’ll need to cover the cost of repairs there as well. I would recommend them for the pool removal aspect, but be prepared to put in some of the work yourself to get the lawn looking right.

Keith and Elaine were initially hesitant about having their pool removed, but after speaking with Don Handy and Bill Lopez for a month, they were incredibly impressed with their expertise and thoroughness. The entire process, from the property survey and securing the necessary permits to the careful demolition and cleanup of their driveway and street, exceeded their expectations. They wholeheartedly recommend Alex’s team if you’re looking to reclaim your backyard.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience dealing with Remove a Pool. Buying a house is stressful enough, but adding the task of removing an old pool just made it even tougher. Don Handy was a lifesaver – he was the only company that responded to my call right away. He worked closely with both the buyer’s and seller’s realtors, kept me updated every step of the way, and I was really impressed with his crew. They worked incredibly hard, literally from early morning until late, to get the pool gone. It was also really heartwarming to see them carefully rescue a family of bull frogs that got trapped at the bottom. Now, the new yard looks fantastic with the grass already growing in place. Don and his team were so easy to work with and always answered my questions promptly. I highly recommend them!”
