  “We couldn’t be happier with our new pool and spa from Landau Pools! From the very beginning, Bobby listened intently to what we wanted and, honestly, he created the perfect design – one that fit both our vision and our budget. What really stood out was his honesty and realistic approach from day one. Construction moved really quickly, and all of his contractors were incredibly respectful of our property and our time. Of course, with a project this big, a few things came up, but Bobby was always on top of it, quickly addressing any issues and making sure everything ran smoothly. He even went above and beyond, like getting my husband to test the fit of the bar stools! And he remembered my request to include our family's handprints in the concrete – it was such a special touch. Bobby was always so willing to answer all of my (and my husband’s!) questions, even if he couldn’t get to the phone immediately, he always called right back. When we were finished, he patiently walked us through everything, from the pump to testing the water and adding chemicals. Honestly, if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t choose anyone else. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, and they even completed and filled the pool a week ahead of schedule!   “I was really disappointed with the entire experience of having Bobby’s company build my pool. We initially agreed to start construction in early 2022 with a completion date of October 2022, but it wasn’t fully finished until March 2023. Throughout the whole process, communication was incredibly difficult – I constantly had to chase updates and timelines, and it felt like nobody really knew what was going on. Unfortunately, the pool they built wasn’t what we’d agreed upon in the contract, and there were some significant design flaws. There were also issues with the workers; they seemed to come and go as they pleased, and there were periods of no communication at all. To make matters worse, they completely failed to uphold their obligation to replace the gate as outlined in the contract, and I had to threaten legal action to get them to finally do it. Even after the pool was supposedly finished, they didn’t follow through on their promise to handle the startup, which resulted in staining of the plaster. Despite months of trying to get them to address this, they’ve completely ignored my concerns. Adding to the stress, they attempted to put a lien on my property if I didn’t make the final payment, which felt like an incredibly aggressive tactic given the poor quality of their work. Honestly, I would strongly advise against using this company.” report abuse
