“I’m incredibly disappointed with the work Millennium Construction did on the Woodstock Village apartments. Frankly, it was shockingly poor quality, especially considering these were brand new units. There were numerous issues – loose cabinets, doors not properly installed, significant problems with the AC ducts, and a completely unfinished TV mounting area they refused to address. We found dirt and garbage in the air ducts, clogged shower lines full of rocks, gaps around all the exterior doors, broken blinds, and even major malfunctions with the refrigerator and stove top on the first day. They didn’t even bother to properly secure the air vents. It was clear they hadn’t paid attention to detail, and the lack of care was astounding. The owners are now seeking a new contractor, and I cannot recommend Millennium Construction – particularly for new construction. I’d give them a 0/10.”

Overall, my experience living in this Harrison, WI apartment community built by Millennium has been really disappointing. I’m in one of the oldest units, built in 2021, and there have been some significant quality issues. Honestly, the construction feels quite cheap – the materials and finishes are noticeably low quality. My kitchen countertops have awful seaming and cracking, and the cabinets weren't properly leveled, which is a frustrating learning experience! The flooring also shows some problems with the subfloor. The windows are a real issue; they howl terribly in the wind even when closed, and there's water pooling under the sills. There’s no proper drainage around the building, and the entryway to my second-floor unit is shockingly cold, even with the electric baseboard heating. And the biggest problem is the flooding. The grading around the building is completely wrong, causing water to pool and seep into my garage and entryway. It nearly ruined some of my belongings. Beyond that, there's no ductwork in the secondary bathroom, and the only really nice thing about the place is the gas fireplace—but it’s expensive to run. Despite the generous space for the price, the poor construction and ongoing issues make it a frustrating place to live.

Moving into our new townhouse, we were really disappointed with the quality of the build. From the very first night, we had a significant leak from a light fixture in the bathroom, and the screen doors weren’t functioning properly. We’ve also found water damage in both the bathroom and kitchen due to inadequate caulking, and our toilet hasn’t been installed correctly – it’s still not working a month after we moved in. What’s been most frustrating is the lack of urgency to address these issues. It felt like the primary focus was on getting the building completed quickly, rather than ensuring a satisfactory outcome for residents like us.

“I’ve always had a really positive experience working with Millennium. Jesse and his team are fantastic – they keep you fully in the loop and communicate everything clearly.”
-
“We were really disappointed with the way this situation was handled. It just abruptly shut down, and we were left without any warning, losing our initial down payment – a completely unexpected and frustrating experience.”

Jesse was a real pleasure to work with on the Waupaca commercial property. He was both approachable and brought some really insightful ideas to the table when it came to finding ways to save costs.
