  Dan and his crew at DR Stonework did an absolutely fantastic job replacing my failing retaining wall. I was really worried when it started to go – it needed to be fixed quickly, and I knew very little about retaining walls. Adding to the stress, the wall was right next to my septic tank, which made the situation feel really precarious. Dan was amazing from the start. He walked me through everything, gave me a really clear and honest estimate, and patiently answered all of my (many!) questions. He even took the time to explain the project to me so I could make informed decisions about the materials and stay within my budget. The crew was fantastic too – incredibly professional and respectful of my family and property throughout the entire week. Honestly, the finished wall looks so much better than the original, and I couldn't be happier. Dan made sure I was completely satisfied before he finished, and I’ll definitely be calling him for any future projects. report abuse

  “We were absolutely thrilled with the work D.R. Stonework did for us – twice! First, they completely re-engineered and replaced our front walkway, adding stairs to access the side yard. The grade was really challenging, and we spent months researching contractors before choosing D.R. Stonework because of Danny’s fair price, clear explanation of their plan, and the fantastic reviews we’d read. And honestly, those reviews were spot on – Danny was incredibly hands-on, personally overseeing every detail and ensuring we were completely satisfied. The crew was fantastic too – polite, hardworking, and really professional. The result was stunning, far exceeding our expectations. Then, they tackled our side yard, starting with a complete renovation. We gave Danny a reasonable budget and asked him to create a whole new design while also addressing some serious drainage issues. The final product is incredible – a brand new drainage system, beautifully refaced stairs, a gorgeous stone paver patio and walkway, even a grass center yard! It’s completely transformed our outdoor space. Again, the same great team returned and worked with incredible attention to detail, with Danny there to guide them. While it was an investment, the quality of the design and their workmanship was absolutely top-notch.   Danny really dropped the ball on this project. We contacted D.R. Stonework to get an estimate for some work on our pool deck, and while he was initially responsive and scheduled a site visit, he completely disappeared after that. A day before, he cancelled with no explanation, and then never followed up. We ended up having to chase him down again, and it's now been almost a month since he first looked at the deck. Honestly, we were expecting a much smoother experience given the other reviews we’d read. The fact that he’s now claiming the quote is available on some portal, without actually responding to our emails or voicemails, is just unacceptable. It’s clear there’s a serious issue with communication, and it’s frustrating to be left in the dark like this. report abuse

  Dan and the team at DR Stonework did an absolutely fantastic job restoring the stone wall around my porch – it’s a beautiful, historic structure from 1925. From start to finish, I was so impressed. Dan himself is a true expert, immediately recognizing the original materials and prioritizing preserving the wall’s integrity. He clearly explained every step of the process, and his crew was incredibly professional, hardworking, and polite. They were also very fair with the pricing and provided a really detailed estimate. Honestly, you can tell they take immense pride in their work, and the quality of the repair is outstanding.   D.R. Stonework did an absolutely fantastic job building our patio around the pool. From the very beginning, Dan was so professional, honest, and really took the time to listen to our vision and make our dream a reality. We had some challenges – the landscaping needed a lot of work and the access to the backyard wasn’t ideal, plus the weather wasn’t always cooperating – but Dan and his crew worked tirelessly through it all, sticking to the timeline they’d promised. The final result is stunning; the patio looks incredible and the grading is just spectacular! Honestly, it’s even better than we could have hoped for. Dan was so responsive, always keeping us updated with daily reports, and he went above and beyond to help us. We’re so incredibly grateful for his dedication and excellent work.   We were so thrilled with the new walkway Danny and his team at D.R. Constructing and Landscape, Inc. created between our driveway and front door. Honestly, we were a little overwhelmed with all the design and material options at first, but thankfully, we’d previously worked with Danny on a patio and retaining wall repair, and his expertise was invaluable. He patiently guided us through every decision, showed us the materials firsthand, and offered really smart suggestions. Within days, he provided a detailed cost estimate, and the work started within a couple of weeks – thankfully, the weather cooperated! The entire project was completed in about five days, and the crew was incredibly organized, sticking to their schedule and letting us know exactly when we needed to move our cars. Everyone was professional, friendly, and took the time to clean up the site each day, which was a huge help in managing the dust. We absolutely love the finished product: a beautiful, curved paver walkway with proper drainage, wider and gentler coping steps, a lovely granite light post with an outlet, and new front door steps with granite treads and a beautiful granite veneer.   “I was so impressed with Danny and his team! They tackled a really complex job – cutting a drain into my pool deck and installing a French drain in my front yard – and they did an absolutely fantastic job. What really stood out was how quickly they got it done, even when they encountered some unexpected challenges, and all while staying within the original quote.
