“I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the team we’ve had so far. Kelly Madore was fantastic – so friendly and professional, she really embodies the best of Auburn Concrete. It’s refreshing to see such great customer service, which seems to be a rare thing these days. And a big thank you to Kayla and Bonnie in the billing office; they both clearly enjoy their jobs and treat our customers with genuine care and respect.”

“I had a really unsettling experience today while driving through Auburn, Maine. A truck driver at Auburn Concrete was incredibly aggressive and flipped me off, along with driving recklessly. It was a frightening encounter.”

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience dealing with Auburn Concrete following an accident on August 30th, 2016. While the driver was responsible and cooperative with both myself and the police, the company’s handling of the situation was completely unacceptable. It took nearly a month for their insurance to even initiate repairs, and the owner never took the lead in coordinating the process. Adding to the frustration, their insurance refused to use factory parts to restore my leased vehicle – a 16-month-old car – significantly diminishing its value. Because of this, I’m now facing a penalty when returning the vehicle. It's incredibly stressful to be stuck with a damaged car due to the negligence of one of their drivers, and the company’s lack of responsiveness. I’m reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and strongly advise others to exercise caution when considering Auburn Concrete.

“My brother and his friends recently worked with Auburn Concrete for a gentleman’s project, and frankly, it was a really disappointing experience. The driver showed up significantly late, appearing either very drunk or hungover, and then proceeded to smoke marijuana right on the customer’s property while leaving trash and food wrappers scattered around. Adding to the problem, it turned out the driver hadn’t properly mixed the concrete – he’d left it sitting in the drum for over two hours without adding any water. The result was a poorly mixed, dry concrete that took three men nearly five hours to correct. Because of the driver’s negligence and unprofessional behavior, the slab cracked just 15 minutes after it was finished, essentially costing my brother and his friends the job. It was a completely unacceptable situation.”
-
“I’ve been really happy with Auburn Concrete over the years. They’ve done several small concrete jobs for me – usually around 2 to 5 yards – and they’ve always been reliable, delivering a consistently good mix, and the drivers are always friendly and helpful.”
-
“I’m extremely concerned about the drivers being hired here. There’s a consistent issue with drivers using the left lane for travel, which is incredibly disruptive and dangerous. It’s unacceptable that someone with limited experience, like a 16-year-old, would be entrusted with a vehicle as heavy and potentially hazardous as a loaded concrete truck in that lane.”
-
“I had a really frightening and upsetting experience today. I was at an intersection when another driver aggressively cut me off. He then got out of his truck and began yelling at me, and when I asked him to stop, he became incredibly aggressive, eventually relieving himself on my tires.”
-
“Everything went really smoothly – they arrived on time and the driver was incredibly helpful and precise when backing the truck into position. As a homeowner, I felt completely taken care of and appreciated their professionalism.”
-
“Unfortunately, we had a serious issue during our trip. One of the drivers behaved extremely inappropriately, resulting in damage to our vehicle – he actually defecated on one of our tires.”

Auburn Concrete consistently provides excellent service and their drivers are truly top-notch.
