  Jason and his apprentice did an absolutely fantastic job with my chimney rebuild and upgrades. He was so approachable and patient, answering all my questions promptly. They arrived on time, completed the work to a very high standard – the brickwork was perfect – and even included installing a new liner and bringing all my basement vent pipes up to code. I was really impressed with the thoroughness of the work and the fact that everything was cleaned up so completely; it was like they hadn't been there at all. report abuse

  “Overall, United Masonry and Construction did a solid job reinforcing and waterproofing my foundation. While there was a bit of water seepage initially, Jason stepped up and honored his guarantee.   I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. From the beginning, it felt like they were constantly trying to add extra charges and inflate the cost of the job. Once they’d completed about 90% of the initial work we’d agreed on, they started bringing up things we’d previously discussed – like ordering a chimney cap – just to get more money. I stopped them when I noticed and paid for the time they spent discussing the cap, but six weeks later it still hadn’t arrived. They’ve given me three different dates for when it would be delivered, and then they even tried to bribe us to remove my review. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust this company at all. It’s now October 22nd and I’m still waiting for the chimney cap and haven’t heard anything from them since. report abuse
