  “We were absolutely devastated after the recent hailstorm – 2-inch hail caused incredible damage to our home in the 78729 area, including our roof, attic, and walls. We were left with hailstones all over our house! Dealing with our insurance company, Mercury, was a complete disaster; they were incredibly slow to respond and it took over four months just to get a small amount of approval for repairs. Thankfully, a neighbor suggested Vincent and EC Design Builds, and honestly, everything shifted for the better the moment he stepped in. Vincent and his team expertly navigated the supplemental claim process with Mercury, ultimately securing an additional $31,000 – which was absolutely essential to get everything fixed properly. They not only repaired every single damage, from the roof and attic to our fence, trees, drywall, and even cleaned our air ducts, but the whole team was so polite, hardworking, and professional.   “I can’t recommend Vince and his team. We had an absolutely terrible experience removing a tree, and I’d give them zero stars if I could. Vince was recommended by our architect and he quoted us a price that matched the lowest estimate – around $3000 – despite not even seeing the tree. We warned him about a potentially difficult neighbor, but the crew still managed to let a large branch fall onto our neighbor’s fence, causing significant damage. Then, at the end of the day, they tried to jack up the price to nearly $5200! It’s completely unreasonable, especially since the tree hadn’t grown bigger in the six hours they were working. They left us to deal with the repair costs for the fence, which only ended up costing us $300. It was incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. We ended up going with a different company who finished the job quickly and for half the price – seriously, don’t waste your time with Vince and his team, find someone else!” report abuse

  Vincent was absolutely wonderful – I was so grateful for his help! I was visiting from out of state and saw an ad offering assistance to families during the winter storm. Turns out it was Vincent, a local contractor, who generously drove my mom to my brother in South Austin. He didn’t ask for a single penny, which was just incredible. He’s such a sweet and respectful person, and I wholeheartedly recommend him for any home remodeling or repair work. They were incredibly responsive and quickly got the job done, and they even went above and beyond by painting the entire room. While the process took a little longer than expected – they spent about three months battling with my insurance company – I really appreciated the owner’s dedication.   “I cannot recommend this contractor. Our experience was incredibly frustrating and damaging to our business. They took a significant portion of our funds upfront and then repeatedly failed to show up for work, essentially holding our project hostage. We missed our opening deadline due to their lack of commitment. They even falsely claimed we hadn't paid when we had proof of funds received, and their workers confirmed this. We ended up having to hire another company to finish the work, costing us even more time and money. We paid $6,500 and received absolutely nothing but excuses.
