“I visited both of the Dollar General stores on [Street Name] and Dessua Road today, hoping to find items I’d seen advertised. Unfortunately, both stores had broken bathrooms, and the staff seemed to have a really poor attitude about it. It’s really frustrating after I deleted the app and stopped going there – it’s just a consistently bad experience.”
-
“I’m consistently disappointed with the upkeep of this store. I visit twice a week, both mornings and evenings, and it’s always the same – messy and unkempt. It seems the management isn’t effectively addressing the cleanliness and presentation of the store. While I understand employees are paid relatively low wages, the overall appearance reflects poorly on the business, and I believe corporate needs to review and increase compensation to better retain and motivate their staff. It’s frustrating for customers to shop in a store that doesn't seem well-maintained.”

“The selection was really good and the prices were what I’d hoped for. The staff were a little disorganized, but everyone was still friendly and polite.”
-
“Honestly, this store needs a serious overhaul. It’s consistently messy with boxes and trash piled up, and they’re rarely stocked with what customers want. Adding to the problem, the staff seem unhappy and weren’t particularly helpful or friendly.”
-
“I’ve been really disappointed with this store. They’re constantly out of stock – it’s not just a couple of things missing, it’s a consistently frustrating problem.”

“I’ve been a regular customer at this store for almost two years now, and I’m incredibly disappointed. It’s become really frustrating – the staff haven’t been friendly at all, and the store’s consistently dirty. Stock levels are shockingly low, and I’ve often left empty-handed, with the only things available being frozen foods, trash bags, and sandwich bags. It’s unbelievable that they don’t carry basic items like deodorant. Honestly, it’s shocking that the security announcements keep being made when the store looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in months. I really feel like the district manager isn’t visiting or doesn’t care about this location. I’d much rather drive a long way to another store than continue supporting this one – it’s become a real eyesore.”

It was great, most of what I was looking for was in stock, and thankfully it wasn’t too crowded – a really pleasant experience.

I'm incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at this location. The cashier, wearing a queen hat, was utterly unacceptable. She immediately started the transaction by complaining about having a bad day and essentially telling everyone in line – myself included – to leave and go to another store. Her behavior was incredibly rude and dismissive, making the entire experience incredibly unpleasant. Ultimately, all ten of us in line just walked out due to her awful attitude. It was truly shocking and unprofessional.

“Honestly, I really don’t enjoy shopping at the Dollar General – it’s usually quite bare and feels a little run-down. I’ve only gone a couple of times because I prefer other stores nearby like Dollar Tree or the Family Dollar across the street.”
-
“This store on North Lamar is consistently struggling, and it’s really frustrating. I’m always finding it incredibly slow because there’s typically just one person at the register, and another employee is often focused on cleaning. The shelves are also frequently empty, and the store has a persistent unpleasant odor. It seems like the management needs to provide more support to the staff – more help at the register and perhaps some additional resources – to improve the customer experience and address the store’s issues.”
