  “Overall, the initial payment process went smoothly, but unfortunately, communication was a significant issue throughout the project. There was a lack of urgency and crucial information wasn’t clearly communicated, particularly regarding the potential for liens to be placed on the property once the work was completed. I only discovered this possibility after asking directly, and it’s concerning that this wasn’t brought to my attention beforehand. The possibility of a lien, especially given my good standing and the extended payment timeline until May 2025, is a serious concern, and the potential back charge of $6,000 adds further worry.” report abuse

  “I would strongly recommend against working with this property management company. Communication has been virtually nonexistent, and they’ve repeatedly placed liens and holds on projects that were originally agreed upon with payment extensions. It’s incredibly difficult to reach the property owners themselves, and as a direct result, the bank has halted all loan draws, causing serious cash flow problems for both the owners and the contractors involved.” report abuse

  “We’ve encountered a serious issue with Billd that’s significantly impacting our clients’ business operations. They’ve proactively sent lien notices – before any payments were even due – which has understandably caused our general contractors’ risk departments to immediately place a hold on our payments. Frankly, this feels like a deliberate interference with our business, and we’re deeply concerned about the potential legal ramifications.
