The service was fantastic – they really went above and beyond with the follow-up, which was a great touch.

I was really disappointed with Harris Fire Protection. I scheduled a service appointment for our building, and while the customer service was okay initially, the technicians didn’t seem to listen to my requests. They only focused on the sprinkler system, completely ignoring my specific instructions to check the exit signs and activate the fire alarm panel – I’d made these requests clearly over the phone before they even arrived. After speaking with Jody, it was frustrating to learn that the technicians claimed I hadn’t asked for those services, despite my repeated requests. They then charged an extra $50 just to look at the fire panel, even though I’d already paid $350 for the initial visit. Honestly, I’m worried they didn’t actually properly inspect our fire safety systems. I won’t be using Harris again; we’ve switched to Reliance Fire Protection.

“I was really impressed with their responsiveness. They came out the next day to assess our situation, and while they couldn’t directly help due to the unique system we had, they were incredibly helpful in pointing us towards other companies that could. They were also very polite and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I’d definitely recommend them.”

“I was really pleased with the service I received yesterday. They managed to fit me in, and the technician was actually there at my office early the next morning – very accommodating. He was also incredibly polite and did a really thorough job.”

Dustin and Ty were fantastic – they really went the extra mile to ensure everything was done right, and I’d definitely call on them again if I need any more work done.

Honestly, I can’t recommend using this company. Based on other people’s experiences, they’re consistently unreliable and a real headache. The person in charge, Cory, seems just as disorganized, and they’ve been known to add unexpected costs late in the process. The owner, Jim Salembene, doesn’t appear to have adequate training, and they tend to wait until the work is almost finished before hitting you with extra charges. Seriously, please read the reviews before considering them – it will save you a lot of trouble and money. There was one good person, Dave, but I hope he finds a better opportunity.

“Sam was fantastic – really helpful and patient with me as I was filling my CO2 bottle for the first time. The whole process was quick, taking less than 20 minutes, and I’ll definitely be returning.”
-
Larry did a fantastic job inspecting and updating our equipment – he was really professional throughout the whole process.
-
“I’ve been really pleased with their service – it’s consistently good and the prices are fair. I’ve already used their services twice, and I’m planning on going back next week and anticipating the same high standard.”
-
“I was really disappointed with my recent experience. I purchased a First Alert 4 lb extinguisher, but I was told they didn't have the correct adapter for it. I wish they’d informed me of this during my phone call, as I drove quite a distance specifically to get that model.”
