    “I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. They’re significantly overcharging for upgrades and warranties, and then they completely fail to deliver on their promises – they won’t send a technician to actually fix anything. They basically expect you to diagnose and resolve issues yourself, or rely on frustrating video calls. Last year, they replaced a couple of faulty cameras, but recently, during a service call, they claimed the problems were due to outdated parts from both Protection One and ADT. It’s been a truly awful experience filled with so many issues. Honestly, we’re already looking for a new security company, and I’d strongly advise you to do the same.” report abuse

    “I’m incredibly frustrated with Protection 1. I was a long-term customer of ASG, and I paid them in full for three years. I then canceled my service almost a year early, but now I’m being contacted with a bill of $280.65 – a completely unreasonable amount. The worst part is, Protection 1 couldn’t produce any record of my original payment, forcing me to provide proof from my bank. Even after that, they insisted my cancellation wasn't properly documented and tried to reduce the debt to $180.65. ASG hasn't responded since I cancelled in 2014, and now this new company is trying to collect on a debt I believe was already settled. I’ve filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I’m seriously concerned about this whole situation.” report abuse

    I’m incredibly frustrated with the customer service I received. After being transferred repeatedly and stuck on hold for an extended time, it became clear that no one knew how to resolve my alarm issue. To the point where I had to partially disarm my system myself, and I was constantly asking the last representative to speak up due to the volume. Her reaction to my request was completely unacceptable – demanding I stop “cussing” was incredibly rude. It’s completely unacceptable that a company could mislead a customer into a dangerous situation, and I’m now dealing with the serious consequences. Honestly, the service was incompetent and utterly useless. If you can’t fix a problem, don’t mislead your customers. I’m extremely disappointed and will be pursuing this further, especially if I don't regain my hearing. report abuse

    “I had a really frustrating experience trying to get help. I called twice in a row and waited over 30 minutes on hold each time. Then, I was bounced around to different representatives who kept asking me to explain my issue from the beginning. Ultimately, I ended up having to find the solution myself by watching a video on YouTube – it was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating.” report abuse

    Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this service. I’d strongly advise against it. They have a really problematic cancellation policy – you’ll likely be hit with a hefty $700+ fee if you try to cancel before your contract ends, and they don’t even inform you about this when you initially sign up. report abuse
