    “I was really struggling to get my cameras connected with the Provisions app, but I want to give a huge shout-out to Justin! I reached out to him and he quickly and effectively got everything working for me – I had access to my cameras within minutes. Honestly, the customer service was phenomenal, and I can’t recommend Provisions highly enough!” report abuse

    I’m incredibly disappointed with this system and the experience I’ve had. After using it for almost a year, it’s only worked a handful of times. Worse than that, the customer service is completely unacceptable – I’ve repeatedly been passed off to different people, mainly Mary, who just relays messages to Gary, Tom, or Austin. Austin, in particular, is a major problem; he’s been dishonest multiple times, fabricating conversations and scheduling visits that never happened. It’s unbelievable that he’d lie about speaking with me and then deny any evidence. Frankly, it’s like he’s trying to pull a fast one. Because of this level of unreliability and dishonesty, I’m completely pulling away and exploring other options. I cannot recommend this company – it’s a waste of time and money. report abuse

Unfortunately, LA Alarms doesn't offer a return policy, so I’m stuck with a system that just isn’t meeting my needs.     I’m so incredibly disappointed with my experience with La Alarms. I made the huge mistake of paying for five years in advance, and it’s been a complete disaster. They started running my credit without my permission, which was the first red flag. But the worst happened last night – we were robbed while the alarm was active, and it didn’t go off! A thief was able to break through a brick wall and steal over $40,000 worth of inventory and cause significant damage. The alarm system failed to activate, and despite my calls, they offered nothing but excuses. It was a terrifying experience, and frankly, I feel completely abandoned by La Alarms.     I had a really unsettling experience with the alarm system offered during my recent home purchase in Youngsville. Lorelai Adams, the representative I spoke with, initially presented the system with no upfront installation costs and a monthly fee of $37. However, without my knowledge or consent, she arranged a loan through Synchrony Bank and got it approved in my name for the equipment. I was completely blindsided by this – I never wanted a loan and certainly didn’t agree to it. I wasn't given a clear price breakdown for the equipment itself, and I never signed anything authorizing them to apply for credit in my name. It feels like a serious breach of trust and I'm now dealing with the fallout of having to cancel a credit card. This whole situation raises significant concerns about their business practices and I believe it warrants further investigation. report abuse

    “I’m incredibly frustrated with La Alarm. When I initially hired them to install security equipment for my new home, they provided the majority of the system and offered a two-year free monitoring period – which I greatly appreciated. However, after those two years were up, they suddenly started billing us thousands of dollars for equipment we already owned. They’ve only added a camera and a lock, and the camera hasn't even worked properly for months. To make matters worse, they put a loan in our name for the equipment without our consent, and their customer service has been completely unresponsive. I’ve repeatedly contacted them with the correct information, but no one ever calls back. It’s been a really stressful and upsetting experience, especially when things like the camera failing during homecoming week – someone climbed my fence and mess with my pool – and then other incidents where I had to catch kids trying to climb the fence. The equipment seems quite cheap and unreliable, and frankly, I feel completely ripped off.” report abuse

Honestly, the best part is their support – whether I was calling tech support or a technician came to my house, they were fantastic and resolved the problem right away.     I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with LA Alarms. I recently had a new home security system installed in Marrero, and just three weeks later, I discovered a serious issue. The installer connected the cameras with faulty wiring that was sparking and held together with electrical tape, which repeatedly tripped our circuit breaker. When I brought this to their attention, they simply offered to remove the cameras and provide a refund – no apology, no acknowledgement of the very real danger we faced. It took almost two weeks for the system to malfunction and nearly resulted in a house fire! The manager who finally responded was dismissive and hostile, seemingly more concerned about a personnel issue than the potential for a devastating event. Now, because I didn't cancel within three days, I’m being penalized, even though I didn’t discover the faulty wiring until a week after installation. Frankly, I’m extremely unhappy with their lack of responsibility and communication – and I will not be continuing my service with LA Alarms. report abuse
