“Overall, my experience with CARL was really disappointing. It seemed like they weren't actively listening to my needs, and their approach felt quite unprofessional. If they had taken just a couple of minutes to truly understand my requests – which were actually two separate projects as confirmed by other surveying companies – the issue would have been resolved immediately. It’s frustrating when you feel like your explanation wasn’t properly heard.”

“I was really pleased with the service Laura provided. My title company had a delay, and she quickly and professionally helped me find an expedited survey. I’m very grateful for her assistance and hope to work with her again in the future.”

“I was really considering using this company to update a survey we have, but after reading all the reviews, I’ve decided not to proceed. Honestly, the level of unprofessionalism – with the business owner sharing client information publicly and the overwhelmingly negative feedback – was concerning. I’ve learned to sift through occasional unhappy customers, but this appears to be a consistent pattern of dissatisfaction. I’m grateful to everyone who left a review; it’s clear this company isn’t delivering a positive experience, and I don’t want to risk our business with them.”

“Honestly, I was really surprised to find out that this company doesn’t offer electronic copies of their surveys, even when I specifically requested them. I ended up wasting a lot of time making multiple trips to Kinkos just to scan and print them myself. It’s frustrating that they weren’t willing to provide this simple service, especially since it’s not required by law. It makes me question how current their methods are overall, and I have to admit, it does make me a little concerned about the accuracy of the surveys themselves. I’d suggest looking for a company that’s more tech-savvy and understands the value of saving customers time and effort.”

“I was really pleased with the work Karl Bowles and B&B Surveying did for me. After my neighbor built a new fence following Hurricane Ike, it turned out to be significantly over the property line, conflicting with both the original neighborhood plat and local setback regulations. I’d already had two other surveys done and collected information from neighbors, which I provided to Karl. He accurately identified the encroachment – about 4 feet over a 71-foot stretch of my property line. What was particularly impressive was that Karl was able to examine my neighbor's original survey and incorporate its discrepancies into his own work, creating a very detailed and thorough report. He was incredibly professional, and his surveyors report clearly explained his findings. Because of my neighbor’s unwillingness to cooperate, the only way to resolve the situation was through a lengthy legal battle that spanned five years. Karl consistently provided valuable advice and served as a key expert witness in court. Ultimately, we won the case, recovered my property, and secured compensation against the other surveyor. I wholeheartedly recommend B&B Surveying – Karl Bowles is an outstanding surveyor.”

“I had an incredibly negative experience with this company. I called with a simple question and was immediately met with abusive language and was hung up on within two minutes. Honestly, the service was completely unacceptable and I strongly advise against using them – you’ll likely be treated poorly and yelled at.”
-
“Overall, it was a really positive experience. They were incredibly helpful and easy to work with, and everything ran exactly on schedule. I was particularly pleased with the professionalism of the team and the fact that there were no unexpected costs.”
-
“Harris County has confirmed the original survey data was accurate, which is great. However, the B&B’s response was completely inaccurate and frankly, quite concerning due to its unethical nature.”
-
“We were really disappointed with the customer service we received. We followed their instructions exactly, and then, completely out of the blue, they cancelled our survey after waiting four weeks – without giving us any explanation.”
-
“Overall, it was a really positive experience working with them – they did a great job for me.”
