    I’ve been a loyal customer of this company for over 25 years – they installed my alarm and CCTV systems, and have even handled all my home upgrades and maintenance. I’ve always been impressed with the sales team, especially Dennis, and the work crew and staff are fantastic. However, I’m incredibly disappointed with the completely unresponsive service I’ve received recently. I was essentially “ghosted” – no calls, no updates, nothing. It wasn't until a service technician explained that I wasn’t getting a signal from my house to the control center, and I was still being charged for it, that I realized the extent of the problem. I brought this to the owner’s attention a year and a half ago, and he insisted I was still on a contract, despite having never been on one for two decades. It’s unacceptable that I was being charged for a service I wasn’t receiving. Then, just two weeks ago, I contacted Dennis to discuss an upgrade, and he told me they didn't want my business. Seriously, I strongly advise against using this company. report abuse

I had a bit of an accident – I accidentally triggered a customer’s alarm – and I was really stressed until I spoke with Kay. She was fantastic, walking me through the steps patiently and then quickly arranged for a technician to help. Ken then followed up and guided me through the final steps to re-arm the system.     I have to be honest, I’m really disappointed with my experience. It wasn’t just about the product or service, but the way the owner handled things. From the very beginning, they came across as dismissive and uninterested in actually listening to my concerns, which were completely valid. Instead of trying to find a solution, they were defensive and just didn’t seem to care about providing good customer service. This really escalated the situation and left me with a very negative impression of the company. Ultimately, good leadership sets the standard for a business, and in this case, it was sorely lacking. I would urge anyone considering doing business here to proceed with caution – it’s a shame this could have been easily resolved with a little more understanding and respect. report abuse

    I just wanted to say how incredibly pleased we were with Harford Alarm – especially Stuart Bell. He was fantastic! He really took the time to understand our needs for both our home and our business, explaining all the different parts of the alarm systems clearly and honestly. Stuart was so knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure everything was set up perfectly, staying within our budget while still getting exactly what we needed. Jamal, the installer, was also brilliant, particularly with the complex office system. Stuart kept us updated throughout the whole process, which made everything so much smoother.     I was really disappointed with my experience with this company. I ended up inheriting an old alarm system when I bought the house and was pressured into a long-term contract. My wife has told me she’s had this exact conversation with them before, and nothing ever changes. When I asked about different solutions, they only offered something completely useless.
