What really sets her apart is that she actually has her own furniture and accessories – a huge relief! I’ve had bad experiences in the past with stagers who said they had inventory but ended up needing to source everything, which significantly increased the cost and time involved. Joy is incredibly efficient; she’s always prepared with staging packages and even has her own trucks for delivery, so she doesn’t need to rely on moving companies.   “I’ve used Joy Staging Company on several occasions over the past three years, and I know several friends who have as well. Unfortunately, we consistently ran into the same issue – the furniture was always quite old, outdated, and in poor condition. We brought this up with Joy multiple times, but she would become very defensive, insisting that no one else had any problems with her staging. Despite her fixing some of the items, she would repeatedly put the same worn furniture back in our homes. Most recently, when I asked her to replace a heavily scratched table and a couple of other pieces, she added a $100 travel fee. Honestly, I was just tired of seeing what looked like Goodwill furniture in my houses, and I ultimately felt she wasn’t delivering the quality I expected.” report abuse

  Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the finished result. It felt like a really rushed job – the clock was just hung with no battery, and the furniture had several noticeable scratches. There were also some odd details, like the yellow shower pole and the obviously fake flowers in the kitchen. The inclusion of a ridiculously cheap basket and a few plastic fruits felt particularly out of place. Honestly, the level of detail was incredibly lacking; a designer would have used something much more sophisticated, like fresh lemons in a vase. The patterns on the furniture and mirror were also far too busy and cheap-looking. Considering the price paid, the quality of the work was simply unacceptable, and I wouldn't recommend this service. report abuse
