  “I recently worked with SH on a renovation project for my mom’s old colonial, thanks to a recommendation from a friend. I can’t recommend Tracey, our project manager, highly enough. She was absolutely fantastic – incredibly responsive, professional, and genuinely smart. She really took the time to understand exactly what we needed and wanted, and it made a huge difference in the whole process. Renovations can be stressful, but Tracey and her team were always there to support us and quickly address any issues.   S & H Construction really turned things around for us. We were in a tough spot after having to let go of our original contractor, but Doug Hanna and his team completely transformed the project. They not only fixed all the problems with the previous work, but they’ve been doing everything flawlessly since. The subcontractors they work with are fantastic – they always took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we were happy with the progress. The project manager and on-site supervisor were incredibly responsive and addressed any concerns immediately. Over the past few years, they’ve handled so many projects – from renovating our kitchen and bathroom to adding a deck and replacing our old heating system. What really stood out was their ability to manage everything, often without needing an architect or designer. They expertly coordinated all the subcontractors, and they were incredibly considerate of us, especially since we were living in the house during each phase. But beyond the smooth execution, the most remarkable thing was the team itself. The tradespeople had such a strong sense of camaraderie and shared purpose – it was clear they’d worked together for years and genuinely cared about getting the job done right.   Honestly, I’d strongly advise against using this company. After the sale, the new owners seem to have completely lost their focus on quality and customer service. My experience was particularly frustrating – I raised concerns about the on-site supervision and requested a replacement, but they simply stopped working on the project and I ended up needing to obtain a new building permit. It’s clear they don’t value quality or customer service, and I wouldn’t recommend them. report abuse
