  “I’m incredibly disappointed with Wheaton Doors. My bathroom remodel, done three years ago, has been a constant source of problems. The shower door was installed terribly – it never closed properly and despite multiple calls, no one ever came to fix it. It took three different contractors to determine it needed a completely custom fit because they hadn’t properly prepared the bathroom, leaving the wall measurements completely off. Now, just today, we’re dealing with a leak coming from the shower drain, apparently caused by a faulty washer that didn't fit the pipes – a problem that’s been developing for three years! The damage is significant, with mold growth behind the drywall. Honestly, I would strongly advise anyone considering Wheaton Doors to avoid them. Their workmanship is simply not up to par, and they clearly don’t prioritize quality.” report abuse

  “Wheaton Door & Window did a fantastic job installing our new front entry door with sidelights and that really large I. Graves window. The whole process was surprisingly easy, and they got everything done in just two days – the door and side panels on one day, and the window on the other. They framed the window perfectly! They were also really tidy and polite, cleaning up all the mess afterward. I’d definitely recommend them and would absolutely use them again when we eventually need to replace our windows.” report abuse

  Overall, we absolutely loved our new front and storm doors – they really elevated our home. However, we’ve had a really frustrating experience with the storm door’s durability; some pieces broke after just a few years. What was most concerning was the company’s response when we tried to get someone to assess the damage and see about getting the parts fixed. They were willing to send the replacement parts, but then insisted we pay again to have someone come out and look at the door, and they wouldn't even mail the parts to us, even though the original manufacturer did. It felt like they weren’t prioritizing our satisfaction as a customer. Jim was apologetic and did reach out, but the whole situation highlighted a lack of support and a reluctance to address the issue. We wouldn’t recommend this company for door installations – we really value a company that stands behind its products and cares about its customers’ long-term satisfaction. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received. From the start, the initial representative was incredibly rude and dismissive; I felt like they just hung up on me after I briefly explained my problem. Then, after being put on hold, the next person was abrupt and unhelpful, offering only a generic “sorry there’s nothing we can do” without understanding the situation or the history of the installation. It was frustrating to be cut off mid-explanation, and frankly, it seemed like they weren’t genuinely trying to resolve the issue with our incorrectly installed windows. It’s concerning to hear that this seems to be a recurring problem with their installations, especially given the large number of townhouses with the same windows. report abuse

  “I recently called to get a quote for repairing my living room window, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. The person who answered the phone was extremely abrupt and seemed annoyed, immediately stating that they don’t do repairs – only replacements. There was no polite explanation or offer of assistance, and she simply hung up without saying goodbye. It felt incredibly rude and unprofessional, and I certainly wouldn’t consider using their services based on that interaction.” report abuse
