  “We had a terrible experience with a different crew installing a metal roof on our cabin, but thankfully we found Back 40 Roofing. Initially, we were left scrambling after they disappeared without finishing the job, realizing we needed someone truly experienced to handle the repairs. Finding a reliable company with metal roofing expertise was a real worry for us. Then Dan from Back 40 stepped in – he scheduled an assessment within days and immediately spotted issues we’d completely missed. He explained everything so clearly, and it was amazing how much he pointed out. Dan was fantastic throughout the whole process. He understood we had other projects impacted by the roof leaks and did his best to work around the weather, which, as it turned out, was incredibly challenging with a record-breaking rainy summer in northern Minnesota. Despite the weather, Dan and his team stayed responsive and, on the day they finally tackled the repairs, they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Their work was better than we expected, and their cleanup was fantastic. What really stood out was Dan’s commitment during a really tough time. Just weeks before, his own home and community were hit hard by a severe storm.   Dan and his team were fantastic – truly a breath of fresh air compared to other companies we contacted after the storm. He was incredibly responsive and even came out to our house to temporarily patch the roof, which was a huge relief. His bid was fair, and we were able to get the job scheduled quickly. But what really stood out was his genuine care and the amazing work his crew did; they left everything spotless! He even checked in on us afterward – it was clear he really cared about his customers.   We recently replaced our 25-year-old roof and couldn’t be happier with the work done by Back 40 Roofing. We received several estimates and chose them because of Dan’s excellent communication and professionalism. He was fantastic to work with, and the final bill matched the initial estimate perfectly – no hidden fees or surprises! The crew were all really friendly and incredibly hardworking. They did a fantastic job completely removing our old roof, installing new underlayment and shingles, and they were very careful not to damage our gutters.
