  Arthur did an absolutely fantastic job painting a few areas in my house. From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive and professional, getting the job done within the timeframe he quoted. The painting looks absolutely stunning and has really transformed the look of my home. He was also so considerate – he was great with my dog and took excellent care of my house while he was working. To top it all off, he even offered to help with a couple of other small tasks and came back the next day to power wash my deck! I wholeheartedly recommend Arthur and his business; I’ll definitely be using them again. report abuse

  “We recently moved into our home in St. Jo and immediately wanted to update the colors. We contacted a few painters, but the first one just didn’t show up, and the second one spent so much time talking that he basically advised us to go with someone else. Thankfully, we met Arthur, and from the very beginning, we felt like he was someone we could really trust. Arthur did an absolutely fantastic job – he painted seven rooms in our house, including three bedrooms, the living room, a bathroom, the front foyer, and a hallway and stairwell on the second floor. We also had a finished basement that needed painting, and he even helped us transform it into a full-blown Bears-themed man cave! Honestly, it’s incredible – we’ve attached some pictures. He was so flexible, working with our color choices and even letting us use our own paint for the living room. He was also incredibly considerate of our move-in schedule. By move-in day, almost all the rooms were finished, and while the basement wasn’t quite done, Arthur kept us updated and completed it within a few days afterward. It was clear he was a professional and really cared about the quality of his work. We got so much value for our money, and our new home looks absolutely beautiful thanks to Arthur and his team. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again, and I’ve actually already asked him for another estimate for some more painting throughout the house – I’m not looking anywhere else!” report abuse

My fiancée and I were looking to brighten up our ranch-style house and get some drywall repairs done, and we found SW MI Painting through Yelp. Arthur responded to our initial inquiry so quickly – within 24 hours – and we immediately felt comfortable with him. He offered some brilliant ideas for paint colors and explained his approach perfectly. It was just a really smooth, friendly experience from start to finish. We especially appreciated that he said we didn't need to do any prep work ourselves, it was a complete, hassle-free service. They completed the entire 4-bedroom house within weeks, and Arthur kept us updated throughout the whole process.   Southwest Michigan Painting was okay to initially deal with – Arthur was really nice on the phone and scheduled a visit for an estimate. He did come out and took a look at the project, and pulled off some wallpaper. However, I followed up a week later because I hadn’t received an email quote, and he didn’t apologize for the delay or give me any indication of when I could expect it. He finally sent me the quote on November 13th, apparently due to a system issue that had been resolved. report abuse

  “We were so pleased with the work this team did to refresh our home’s exterior. They tackled everything – the gutters, soffits, decking, and trim – and the results are fantastic! The owner was incredibly helpful, guiding us to the perfect stain and making sure it would look beautiful on our house before they started.   Honestly, I was blown away by Arthur and his team’s work on my living room. That ceiling is a monster – 35 feet high – and they tackled it with incredible skill. But it wasn’t just the painting itself; they went above and beyond, washing the windows, cleaning the fans and chandelier, and even replacing all the burned-out lightbulbs. The best part is, they didn’t touch a single thing we owned! We left everything exactly where we’d left it, and they completely cleared the room. It was amazing! They finished the job in just a few days – we’d planned for about a week or two, but they were so efficient. We drove up to the UP for a quick trip, and when we came back on Saturday night, it was like a miracle! Everything was back in its place, and the walls looked fantastic. It was truly unbelievable, and now the chandelier actually works and brightens the whole room.
