Working with Meyer Electrical Services was a really frustrating experience. We chose them based on their positive reviews and a good impression from the owner, and we were initially promised high-quality, meticulous work – which is why we ended up paying a premium for their services. However, despite the initial promise, the project quickly went downhill. After receiving a significantly increased estimate just 10 days after the initial one, we continued working with them, but it became clear they weren't taking responsibility for any issues. For example, after a key step was completed, we discovered a serious problem with the AC unit – a loose connection that required a separate, costly repair, and despite multiple emails, no one seemed to take ownership. Adding a whole-house protector to the project also seemed to throw them off track, leading to further mistakes with the installation. Then, they simply decided not to install one of the shed units that was clearly outlined in the original agreement, and it took weeks of persistent emails to get it resolved. It felt like they were just dismissing our needs. Ultimately, the inspection at the end was a huge disappointment – just a photo, despite a scheduled appointment, and completely missed key issues like the incorrectly colored ground cable. The whole project took nearly two months to complete, a massive overstretch from the original week estimate. It was a stressful and disappointing experience, leaving us with a feeling that they weren’t committed to delivering on their promises.

I had a really positive experience with Meyer Electrical. Walt scheduled an electrician, Ben, to install a cable outlet above my fireplace. Ben arrived early the next morning and did a fantastic job – he was efficient, incredibly nice, and even cleaned up afterward. I’ll absolutely be using Meyer Electrical again in the future.

“Meyer Electrical was fantastic! They reacted incredibly quickly when I realized there was a potential problem, and they were both professional and offered a fair price. We’d never used them before, but I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future electrical work.”

Walt was fantastic! I called him up late in the afternoon and he was incredibly responsive, showing up first thing the next morning. He quickly diagnosed and fixed a really concerning issue with my dryer connection – it was dangerously wired – and at a great price too. I’ll definitely be using Meyer Electrical for all my future electrical needs. Highly recommend!

“Meyer Electrical Services did a fantastic job getting my home back up and running after the tree damage. They were really prompt and efficient, and I was particularly impressed with how professional they were. I’m very happy with the work they did – truly outstanding service.”

“I was really disappointed with the work done on my electrical circuit. After replacing the switches and fixtures, the circuit started tripping randomly, even when nothing was plugged in. The electrician came out to fix it, but it was only a temporary fix that lasted less than three hours. Then, after spending $500, he suggested I needed new wiring, claiming the existing wires were ‘old and brittle’ – which was a surprise to hear after the initial work. It would have been incredibly helpful to have known about this potential issue months ago. Also, scheduling the appointment was a constant hassle; he changed the date and time multiple times without considering my work schedule. Frankly, I left feeling like he wasn’t confident in his work and didn’t really understand the problem.”

I had a really frustrating experience with Meyer Electrical Services. Walt was the owner who was supposed to be troubleshooting my Generac generator, but unfortunately, he wasn’t very helpful at all. He immediately recommended replacing the starter, and then the control board, without even running any tests. I ended up spending over $1,200 on these parts, and the generator still wouldn't start. To add to the problem, Walt was completely unresponsive – he wouldn’t return my calls or messages. It turned out to be a simple issue with a bad battery connection, which another company quickly and easily fixed. Meyer Electrical Services isn't an authorized Generac service company, and frankly, Walt seemed to lack a clear understanding of the problem. While his technicians were competent, the overall experience was a huge waste of time and money.

I was incredibly disappointed with Meyer Electrical. I hired them for some electrical work and they completely botched the job, leaving me with no choice but to hire another contractor to fix it. When I attempted to get reimbursed for their substandard work, Mr. Meyer accused me of trying to scam him, even dismissing the invoice from the electrician he hired to correct his mistake as “bogus.” It was a frustrating and costly experience – not only did I end up paying more money, but I was wrongly accused of fraud.

“I’ve been using Meyer Electrical Services for a few years now, and I couldn’t be happier with their work. They’re consistently reliable, always on time, and really easy to get along with. What I particularly appreciate is how they take the time to answer my questions and explain everything they’re doing – it gives me a lot of confidence.”

We were really pleased with Meyer Electrical! We needed some ceiling fans installed and all the electrical wiring run to our main breaker box, and we got several quotes from other local companies. Meyer Electrical stood out because of their competitive prices and their ability to get the job done quickly. Ben was fantastic – he arrived the next day after we scheduled the service and completed the whole job in just under two hours! Another company estimated it would take them all day and charge over $600. Ben’s service was incredibly fast and only cost us $150 total. We really appreciated his professionalism, his friendly attitude, and how quickly he got the job done. We’ll definitely be calling Meyer Electric and asking for Ben again for any future electrical work we need.
