Case Design and Remodeling did a fantastic job overall. I was particularly impressed with Dan Stewart – the plumber they sent. He was incredibly professional, always punctual, and really knew what he was doing. He quickly and effectively handled a complex plumbing issue and even took the initiative to find ways to save us money. I’d definitely recommend Case Design and Remodeling and Dan specifically!

Honestly, I’m completely blown away by the transformation of my kitchen, entryway, dining room, and powder room. It’s now such a beautiful, calming space – a real haven! I have to give Adrian, Colleen, Shawn, and the whole team at Case Design all the credit; they really brought my vision to life. It wasn’t an easy project at all, especially with living in a 9th-floor condo with limited access. Getting everything cleared out and rebuilt was a huge challenge, but Shawn was incredible and made it look surprisingly simple. Adrian was fantastic too, patiently working through some tricky additions like the yoga wall and bookshelves. What really stood out was their attention to detail, how clearly and quickly they communicated, and just their positive attitude. They were so supportive throughout what can be a really stressful process. I learned the hard way – after a less-than-stellar experience with a tile installer, I realized I should have just gone with Case Design from the start. It was a valuable lesson! I’d absolutely call them again for any future projects – they’re truly professionals.

“I used Case a couple years back for a dryer vent installation, and while they got the job done initially, they were significantly more expensive than other contractors. The vent itself worked fine, but unfortunately, it was installed directly next to my heat pump. My AC guy later told me that all the dryer lint was constantly blowing into the heat pump, which ultimately led to its premature failure. It was a really basic mistake – they hadn’t considered the placement. I brought it up to Tom Dodd when I got a bid on some new work, and he agreed to have Case adjust the vent. However, despite this agreement, I’ve sent four emails over the last month requesting the simple fix, and the problem persists. My new heat pump is already filling up with lint, proving whoever made that decision didn’t think it through. Honestly, the fact that they haven't responded to my emails is incredibly frustrating. It makes you wonder what they'll do when a bigger issue arises. I’m really disappointed – they don’t seem to value their customers’ feedback, and I certainly won’t be using their services again.”

Honestly, I learned a really valuable lesson with my kitchen renovation. I started with a big box store, and it was a huge mistake. I quickly realized how many things could go wrong, and I ended up spending so much time managing the whole project myself. Since then, I’ve worked with Case on my garage, basement, a bathroom remodel, and even adding an extension to my house. Carpenter Chris is fantastic – he has a real knack for anticipating problems behind the walls, and I never have to worry about second-guessing his work. Plus, they stand behind their work with a great guarantee, which gives me complete peace of mind. If you’re considering a big project, I highly recommend looking into Case – just be prepared to let the professionals handle things!

We absolutely love our new extension designed by Case Design – it’s become the heart of our home! My wife still constantly tells us how much she loves it, and it’s the perfect place to unwind after dinner with a glass of wine and a good book, or even to watch a movie or capture some wildlife through the windows. The whole process was incredibly smooth, thanks to the fantastic team. Matt, our architect, did a brilliant job seamlessly blending the new space with our existing house. Chuck, our structural engineer, was fantastic at tackling the unexpected challenges that came up as we uncovered the original structure. George kept everything running on schedule, and John, our lead carpenter, was a true craftsman – he completely brought Matt’s design to life with beautiful wood, glass, and stone, and he was so friendly and professional, even patiently dealing with our beagle! We were so impressed with him, my wife actually asked if we could hire him to stay on after the project was complete. We also want to give a huge shout-out to Paul and the foundation team – Paul is seriously amazing with his equipment – and to the roofers and siders who worked through those brutally cold days during the snowstorm. And finally, a special thanks to Chris, who not only helped John with the extension but then built our entire deck after everything was finished. Case Design really delivered a stunning result – the addition looks like it was always meant to be part of the house, and despite the slightly higher cost, it was absolutely worth every penny. We’ll definitely be calling them again for our next project!

Dan was fantastic! He arrived ahead of schedule, took a really quick look at our plumbing issues, and fixed everything efficiently and at a much better price than we expected. It’s just another example of the excellent service we’ve come to expect from Case Design and Fred.

“I was really pleased with the full renovation – Case’s handyman division has consistently delivered excellent work, and this project was no exception. Tom Craze, our project manager, was fantastic too; he really went above and beyond with his support and advice, which I found incredibly helpful.”
-
“Overall, the work was fantastic. Shaun and Bill – and the whole crew – were incredibly professional, polite, and took great care to leave the area spotless each day. They also followed all Covid-19 protocols diligently. It was really reassuring to see such a well-managed and respectful team.”

Luis Gomez really appreciated Case’s professionalism – they consistently met their deadlines and kept us updated on the progress every step of the way. It made a huge difference, especially considering the challenges of the project, and we’re thrilled with the finished result, which we’re really enjoying!

Overall, the construction process was pretty typical – challenging as most building projects are. But the finished ADU turned out absolutely fantastic! It’s perfect for what I needed it for.
