  Derek was fantastic – he was with us the whole way through, patiently explaining everything involved in building our log home.   Derek was fantastic – he really knows his stuff when it comes to log homes. He was incredibly helpful during the inspection, pinpointing exactly what needed to be fixed, and his broader knowledge of construction was impressive.   “I was extremely concerned with this company. It turned out to be a shell operation – Derek Freeman, the individual I worked with, doesn't actually have a valid license and lost his years ago. He was operating under ‘Real Log Homes,’ and insisted on me obtaining all the necessary permits myself, which is completely against the law given his lack of credentials.” report abuse

  Okay, based on what I’ve read, it’s clear they’re consistently recognized as the top log home builder in Alabama – a really solid choice if you’re looking to build a beautiful, custom log home. report abuse
