I was incredibly shaken yesterday, March 12th, near Fresh Pond and Route 2 in Cambridge. A driver in a large JDC pickup truck almost collided with me while he was changing lanes. He completely failed to check his blind spot and nearly hit me – I had to quickly swerve to avoid a serious accident. I was able to capture the incident on video and the truck’s license plate was V46748. The driver was a large, heavy-set man who appeared to be talking on his phone. Based on other reviews, I’m concerned that this might be a recurring issue with drivers operating vehicles here. It’s unsettling to think it could be one individual or a systemic problem with driver competency. I’d suggest reviewing your safety messaging and considering improvements to driver training and screening – perhaps temporarily removing the statement “Safety is our number 1 priority” until these issues are addressed.
-
“The driver demonstrated very poor judgment, pulling onto the exit ramp at the last possible moment and nearly causing a collision. Furthermore, their aggressive behavior in speeding past me while I was in the breakdown lane was completely unacceptable.”
-
I’m incredibly shaken and frankly, terrified after an incident involving one of your drivers in Tewksbury. He nearly collided with my vehicle, then proceeded to berate me, spit on me, and make threatening statements about never using your company again. It was a completely unacceptable and frightening experience.
-
It seems like there’s a lack of experience with towing trailers – the team doesn’t appear to have a strong grasp of the necessary driving skills.
-
“Driver 516 almost lost control of the vehicle on I-90 West – I had to take corrective action.”
-
“Driver 818 exhibited some concerning behavior on Route 95, making several unsafe lane changes without signaling or checking their surroundings.”
