  I have to say, I was so impressed with James – I hadn’t used his services myself, but I’d wholeheartedly recommend him. My daughter was struggling with a broken air conditioner in her Boston apartment, and it was getting dangerously hot for her and her dog. I was completely let down by the store where I bought it and the authorized repair center, who just kept passing me around. Thankfully, I found James through some fantastic reviews, and he was fantastic. He was incredibly honest about the unit and, even better, suggested a replacement portable unit that he’d personally used. He quickly provided me with the necessary information. The unit now works perfectly, and my daughter and her dog are both so much happier. What really stood out was his follow-up – he checked in a few days later to make sure everything was working out, which was just outstanding customer service! report abuse

  James was absolutely fantastic – we were so impressed with his work! We had a really complex electrical issue in our old house, and he was the only electrician who was willing to take it on. The project turned out to be much bigger than initially anticipated, with a surprise hornet nest adding to the challenge, but he stuck to his original quote. Beyond that, he went above and beyond by successfully navigating the process with Eversource, even when we’d struggled to get them to address the problem. As a bonus, he was incredibly considerate of our dogs, keeping the gates secure and even letting them out for a quick evening potty break – a huge relief for us!   “James was fantastic! As a first-time homeowner, I had a few lights acting up shortly after moving in, and he really took the time to walk me through it. Instead of just sending someone out, he patiently talked me through troubleshooting the breakers, which was incredibly helpful. It turned out the previous owners had made a mistake labeling them, and he explained everything so clearly.   James did an absolutely fantastic job installing the heater in our bathroom. We live in an older house in Charlestown with some really unusual construction – lots of unexpected studs and tricky plumbing – and he handled it all with such professionalism. Despite the added challenges and a good bit of extra work, he was completely honest about the scope of the project and stuck to his original quote.   James did a great job installing my smart doorbell back in August 2020, and I was so pleased with the work. I then hired him again to install a light switch for my Christmas lights and I even referred him to my parents for an outdoor light issue, and he handled both jobs effectively. However, a month later, I discovered the light switch he installed wasn’t working, and I tried repeatedly to get him to come back and fix it – texting and calling multiple times. He kept promising to come by, but he never showed up or responded to my messages. It was really frustrating, and honestly, it made me realize the importance of reliable service.
