I had a sudden, urgent issue with a leaking hose spigot causing water to pool around my foundation, and I had to shut off the water to the whole house. Thankfully, the team responded quickly and sent someone out first thing that morning! The plumber was incredibly efficient, brought the right parts, and even took the time to help me with a separate drain issue.   Narrow Way has been fantastic to work with on several projects around my old Boston house.   I was really frustrated with my heating system – it was constantly running with the pump on. I called the original installers, but the technician just couldn’t diagnose the issue and suggested a really expensive replacement. Thankfully, I reached out to Narrow Way.   Narrow Way’s service was incredibly frustrating. I initially contacted them for a kitchen remodel plumbing job, and Mary was really friendly and quickly scheduled an appointment for me. The initial plumber, Mario, was helpful offering recommendations, though he never followed up with a price quote. Things quickly went downhill from there. After a few days, they asked me for a price, and we agreed on a date. However, the person who actually did the work, Steve, was an hour late and then abruptly stopped the job, claiming a supervisor advised him the work wasn’t covered by the original quote and they needed to bill hourly. Two hours of work was completely wasted. Then, they insisted another supervisor needed to assess the situation, and it ended up being a Friday afternoon. Finally, I was told I'd have an appointment the next day, Saturday morning, but the person who was supposed to come didn’t show up – he was dealing with an emergency. Because of their constant delays and broken promises, I ended up having to pay other contractors for two days of work that wasn’t done. It’s clear they present a good face, but they simply aren’t reliable enough to actually deliver on their commitments, which is what’s most important when you’re hiring a service.” report abuse

  My dad’s plumbing business is really built on experience – he’s fantastic at working with older, traditional plumbing and heating systems, especially in Boston basements.
