  Overall, we were incredibly pleased with the gut renovation Kenwood did for our historic home. It was a really complex project – working with the historic commission and the age of the house presented some significant technical and aesthetic challenges. But Boris and Jerry were fantastic; they were brilliant at figuring out solutions and guiding us through everything. You could tell the whole team at Kenwood genuinely cares about their work, and they were always so responsive to our questions and concerns. We’d absolutely hire them again! report abuse

  From the very beginning, working with Boris and Gerry of Kenwood Builders was a truly exceptional experience. We first met them when their new house was just starting – really just a foundation – and we were immediately impressed. Our agent suggested it might be worth a look, and thankfully we went. We loved the location and the plans, but we’d never heard of them, so we asked for references, which they readily provided. We spoke to several previous clients, visited two of the homes they’d built, and were completely blown away by the quality of their workmanship. What really set them apart was their willingness to collaborate. As a kosher home, we had very specific needs for the kitchen design, and Boris and Gerry assured us they could accommodate everything, as long as we communicated our changes before construction began. They absolutely delivered! We redesigned the entire kitchen, customized the closets, chose every tile and paint color, and even altered the layout of the third floor. It was a completely personalized home, built exactly to our vision. And throughout the whole process, they were incredibly reliable and professional. They stuck to their schedule, and we closed on the house exactly when they promised, starting with that initial visit to the building site. Now, six years later, we're still enjoying our beautiful home, and our relationship with Kenwood Builders continues. They’ve consistently provided excellent service, even stepping in to handle repairs after the severe snowstorm of 2014, and they skillfully navigated our insurance claim.
