  Working with Scherrer Construction to add onto my home in Lake Geneva was a really positive experience. I initially felt a bit hesitant – I’d seen their sign and thought they might be more focused on larger projects. But Jim Scherrer was incredibly encouraging and assured me they had a dedicated residential team. My on-site foreman, Jack Coshun, was fantastic. He really took the time to understand my vision and, based on his expertise, developed a solid plan that incorporated my ideas. I especially appreciated their help navigating the permit process, which gave me a lot of confidence that the job would be completed properly. While there were a few extra costs due to some changes I made along the way, I felt comfortable knowing they were a reliable company. They even handled removing a tree and digging a basement, all while perfectly matching my existing metal roofing. The transformation of my old fishing shack into a beautiful home is a testament to their skill and attention to detail. I’m truly grateful to Jim Scherrer, Jack Coshun and the whole crew at Scherrer Construction – they did a fantastic job! report abuse

  I was really disappointed with my experience dealing with the marketing director. She was incredibly unprofessional and quite rude, which made the whole interaction frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend using them for any construction services or estimates based on that experience. report abuse
