    “We’re absolutely thrilled with our experience with Genz-Ryan! A couple of years back, Loren Bottem handled our installation of a whole-home water filtration system, softener, and new water heater, and he was fantastic. He was so incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to really understand our needs, and patiently answered all of our questions – he didn’t try to push us into anything we didn’t need. The crew was also amazing – punctual, professional, and they left our house cleaner than they found it! We’re still getting fantastic performance from everything, and we really appreciate their continued follow-up service and commitment to customer satisfaction.     I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. I invested over $20,000 in their electrical services, and from the beginning, it’s been a complete nightmare. Despite promising priority service, they repeatedly failed to show up for the monitor installation, and I was still charged for it! I had to take four days off work waiting for them, only to be told at the last minute that no one would be coming. Scheduling two months in advance didn't even ensure they’d follow through. To add to the frustration, they even spilled two cans of drinks in my carpet and left it for me to clean up. It’s clear they aren’t reliable and their office seems to be staffed with AI because they consistently make promises they don’t keep. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a much better experience, and frankly, the quick job completion doesn’t outweigh the immense frustration and wasted time. I absolutely would not recommend this company for electrical services. report abuse

    “I was so relieved with the service I received from Genz-Ryan! My furnace decided to give out during a particularly cold February week, and they got me in the next day to look at the strange buzzing noise. Damian Wendt and his team were fantastic – they clearly explained everything in a way I could understand, and because my furnace was over 21 years old, I wasn’t keen on investing in a new one. They quickly scheduled a new installation for the following morning. Ethan Clark and his crew were incredibly prompt and professional; they arrived just as the furnace had completely failed overnight, dropping the temperature to 50 degrees. It’s clear these guys are experienced and do really high-quality work. I also really appreciated how friendly and knowledgeable everyone was – they were completely trustworthy!” report abuse

    I’m really frustrated with my recent experience with Genz Ryan. Yesterday, I was assured a technician would be out today, Friday, sometime in the morning or afternoon. However, when I called this afternoon at 4:23 PM, I was told the appointment was actually rescheduled for next Thursday. And it seems the information I was given had changed several times – first it was Thursday, then Tuesday, and then again Friday because of a contract agreement. To add to this, I received two emails today trying to get me to sign up for additional services, even though I’d already finalized the original contract. It’s clear there’s a serious communication issue within the company. I appreciate the excellent work of the plumber who came today – he was incredibly thorough and patient – but the overall experience with scheduling and communication has been very poor. I really hope they can improve their coordination between departments. report abuse
