  Overall, we were extremely pleased with Mike and his team. They completely transformed our ~1700 sq ft basement, bringing it from partially finished to a fantastic space. They expertly demolished the existing area down to the concrete and then added a full bathroom, egress window, wet bar with island, a bedroom with a walk-in closet, and helpful closet spaces. They even moved two sewer stacks into the walls to really open up the floor plan. Mike went above and beyond by having his team raise the ductwork to near the ceiling, which gave us a little extra room and made a big difference. Throughout the entire project, he and his team kept us updated frequently with lots of helpful questions and recommendations – they guided us through everything from cabinet choices to countertop materials and fixtures. It could have been overwhelming, but they made the decision-making process so easy. The project moved really quickly until we needed to pause for a water issue, but once that was resolved, they finished up incredibly fast. We’re very satisfied with the work and would definitely hire them again. report abuse

  Overall, I was really pleased with Reality Construction. They did a fantastic job replacing the water-damaged wood flooring in several rooms of my house. Jennings and the team were incredibly helpful – they worked seamlessly with my insurance company, kept me fully informed throughout the process, and the finished result is exactly what I hoped for.   I was really disappointed with this experience. While the team seemed capable, they completely disregarded the detailed electrical and design plan we’d spent months developing with our designer. They took measurements of a job that was already finished and didn’t even bother to review the elevations we’d prepared. Despite having a solid plan in hand, one of the electricians, Mike, insisted on changing the lighting to something completely different, even though our plan called for a more comprehensive solution. It felt like they weren’t listening to our established design. Ultimately, they produced a proposal without properly reviewing the plan, which resulted in a significantly higher price than other estimates we’d received. It seemed like they were prioritizing their own approach over adhering to our agreed-upon design, and that’s what drove up the cost. report abuse

  Honestly, I was incredibly frustrated with this company. I scheduled two appointments for an estimate on a house addition, and both times they canceled at the last minute. The final cancellation was particularly disappointing, and they then informed me they weren't interested in the project. While the woman I spoke with on the phone was polite, the constant cancellations and ultimate rejection after all the advertising made for a really bad experience. I certainly wouldn't recommend them based on what happened. report abuse

  “I wanted to follow up on an interaction I had at the Sawmill restaurant just a couple of hours ago. I saw you and Gina there, and I asked you for a business card. However, the woman wearing the Reality Construction of West Bend jacket was actually quite rude – she was pleasant enough, but the man walked out before I could inquire about potential work. Several other people at the restaurant commented on how impolite he seemed.” report abuse
