  Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on that information: “We rented a U-Haul trailer in SE Michigan from May 27th to May 29th, returning it a day early on the 28th. Unfortunately, the drop-off location was unexpectedly closed, so we contacted U-Haul to let them know. However, when we checked our credit card statement a week later, we were hit with an unexpected fee. After speaking with Universal Rent IT All, they couldn’t explain the charge and directed us to speak with the ASM. Thankfully, Universal had a record of our call on the 28th, and they were able to credit our account. It was frustrating that Universal couldn't immediately identify the charge, but we were pleased they resolved the issue.” report abuse

  Universal Equipment Rental of Cadillac is fantastic! The service was excellent, and all the equipment was well-maintained and worked perfectly. The owner is really involved and clearly cares about making sure everyone has a great experience with top-quality equipment. I’d definitely recommend them. report abuse

  I strongly advise against working with this company. I’ve heard numerous reports of unreliable equipment and, frankly, a lack of integrity. With new management and a concerning outlook, it doesn’t appear they’re positioned for long-term success. report abuse

  I had a really disappointing experience with this company. The staff and owners were consistently disrespectful and rude, and frankly, I was shocked they were still operating.   “I was really disappointed with my recent experience. The store hours listed in the advertisement weren’t accurate, and I spent three days trying to contact the company with no success – I couldn’t even leave a message. To top it off, I drove to the store only to find it was closed.
