I couldn’t be happier with the solar hot water heater and how smoothly NESHW handled the installation. My old water heater was finally failing, and switching to solar was a fantastic solution – we even got a really good rebate from the state! I’d definitely recommend NESHW to anyone considering this upgrade.

“I’m absolutely thrilled with these units! They work perfectly, and I’ve actually ended up buying a second one for my other family. They’re incredibly quiet, and I haven’t needed to do any maintenance on the first one after over two years – which is fantastic. The built-in electric booster is a brilliant feature too; it’s given me peace of mind knowing I have plenty of hot water during the busy holiday season.”

“The team really worked well together and demonstrated a strong understanding of the customer’s needs. Offering rebates and tax credits with this new system is a fantastic addition.”

Overall, I’m really pleased with my experience with New England Solar Hot Water. I initially contacted them for a quote and, given my roof space, they recommended the SAHP system – a standard-sized water heater with a large external evaporator panel, similar in concept to mini-split technology. It’s been great to see how it’s working. They were able to accommodate my request for vinyl flooring under the unit, and the installation itself was really quick, only about half a day. I've been monitoring its energy usage through my SPAN electric panel since mid-July, and the results have been promising. I’ve recorded around 79 kWh in July, 63 kWh in August, and 79 kWh in September – with the electric backup enabled. Considering a standard electric water heater uses up to 4000 kWh a year, this SAHP system is definitely going to translate into significant savings. The unit comes with a 26% federal solar rebate and a 20-year warranty, which is a nice bonus. It’s reassuring to know it has an electric backup too, just in case we have a particularly cold winter. If you're considering ways to cut down on your energy bills, I’d definitely recommend giving New England Solar Hot Water a call – I’ve been really happy with the service.
