  I’m writing to express my serious concern about the repeated road closures impacting families around Ulland Brothers School. It’s incredibly disruptive and frustrating that all four sides of the school have been blocked during drop-off and pick-up, causing significant delays and inconvenience for parents and students. The lack of communication from St. Louis County, particularly with the school principal, is completely unacceptable. A simple notification system could have alerted us to potential delays, and addressing these closures during the summer months would have been a much more effective solution. Honestly, it feels like St. Louis County isn’t recognizing the impact these road closures have on our daily lives. We're just asking for basic communication and a little consideration – we need to be able to get to work and school, and it’s frustrating when essential routes are blocked without a clear explanation or proactive planning. report abuse

  I’m really disappointed with the new monument on 14th Street and Washington. It’s completely disrupted my commute and I’m now stuck with a much longer, and frankly less safe, route to work. I used to be able to bike or drive down 14th Street, but now I have to take a longer route via Big Lake Road and Cartwright Road – it’s much darker out there and I’m concerned about my safety. It’s a huge waste of resources and has really negatively impacted my daily life. report abuse
