  John’s a fantastic guy – he really knows his wood and the whole crafting process. I was so impressed when he helped us pick out the perfect walnut last year for our mantle and fireplace shelves, and he’s been a huge help to my fiancé too, assisting him with finding tools and other supplies. report abuse

  I can’t recommend John’s place enough! The prices are fantastic, and the service is truly exceptional. They have a massive selection of wood, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and happy to offer expert advice. Plus, if you don't have the bigger tools yourself, they even provide sawing and milling services – it’s a fantastic all-around experience, definitely worth a visit! report abuse

  I absolutely love this place! The team is incredibly passionate about their work, and they’re always so helpful. You can really tell they focus on delivering consistent quality. Plus, they have a fantastic selection – everything from locally sourced woods to a great range of domestic options, and they’re the only place I’ve found that carries exotic woods too.
