    Honestly, I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with Sollid. I’ve received six deliveries with damaged or missing items, and I’m still missing key components from my original order – specifically, the cabinets I placed months ago. It’s frustrating trying to get any help; they’re not responsive to phone calls and my dealer isn’t getting through to them either. Because of this, Sollid has completely fallen short of my expectations and has sadly moved from being a top choice to a company I wouldn’t recommend. There are plenty of other local cabinet manufacturers who clearly take more pride in their work and customer service – I’d suggest exploring those options instead. report abuse

    Overall, my experience with this company has been a bit frustrating, but I appreciate their efforts to make things right. I initially requested a sample from my dealer about three months ago, and it took an unreasonably long time – months – to get that processed. The sample finally arrived today, after a couple of mis-shipments, which was incredibly inconvenient. They really went above and beyond to fix the issues caused by my independent sales rep, and I want to give a special shout-out to the woman in the local warehouse. She was fantastic, working hard to track down my package, which the delivery company had incorrectly marked as delivered. Despite these positive actions, I’m still a little wary given the number of negative reviews I've seen recently, and I’d likely use a different dealer if I were to make a purchase through them. report abuse

    “I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. We placed an order for kitchen cabinets back in April 2019 for our new home, and we’re still waiting over a year and a half later. Just recently, the last two cabinets arrived in May 2020, but they were the wrong color – completely mismatched with the ones we’d already received and installed. We’ve repeatedly asked them to cover the cost of having the new cabinets repainted, but we haven't heard anything back. The lack of communication and response is really concerning, and frankly, the overall quality of their work seems quite poor.” report abuse

    I’m incredibly frustrated with my experience with Sollid. I reached out hoping they could finally resolve a major issue with my cabinet project, which has been ongoing for over five months since November 2021. Essentially, the trim has been consistently wrong – the color has been consistently off, and it’s been a huge headache. I’ve had to deal with three separate mistakes: the first color error back in January 2022, then the loss of a sample in February, and then the same incorrect color repeated in March. To add to the problem, they even packaged the trim face-to-face before it was dry, causing the paint to peel off when separated. The original cabinets themselves were done perfectly, but this entire issue has been centered around the trim. It's baffling that they haven't paid attention to the details – they’ve been using the older “Graphite” color instead of the newer “Slate” color, and this seems to be a recurring problem, as it happened in 2016 and 2017 on a previous project. My kitchen was originally installed in 2015 (order #73371). The worst part is, the customer service is completely unresponsive. The person answering the phones is consistently rude and unwilling to connect me with a manager. They insist it’s company policy to not let me speak to anyone else. They promised to expedite the last issue and deliver it directly to my house as a gesture of goodwill, but over a month has passed with absolutely no communication or resolution.     “I was really pleased with how the cabinets looked after they were installed following the flood. However, I’ve unfortunately started experiencing some of the same problems other people have reported – noticeable wear and tear. The contractor who installed them told me they’ve stopped using Solid cabinetry due to concerns about the quality and poor service they’d received. Based on that, I’d definitely recommend avoiding these cabinets.” report abuse

    Honestly, we’ve been really disappointed with our Sollid cabinets. We’ve had problems from the very beginning – hinges falling off, and it took months to get them properly replaced or fixed. While we understand some wear and tear is normal, these cabinets just haven’t held up at all. Even minor spills from cooking cause bubbling and chipping, making them look quite cheap. To be honest, my mother-in-law has Home Depot cabinets that have lasted 15 years and are in much better condition, so we really regret choosing Sollid instead. report abuse

    “I’m incredibly frustrated with the entire experience. I placed an order for cabinets through Sollid’s, was given a specific delivery date, and then the delivery team arrived to find the cabinets weren’t ready – with no explanation whatsoever. I’ve now been waiting for eight weeks for over $12,000, and when I’ve tried to get answers directly from the dealer, they’ve completely ignored my calls. They won’t speak with me directly. Because I paid the full amount upfront and have already had to remove and dispose of my old cabinets, I’m now left with no kitchen and a very difficult situation, especially since I’m a local customer.” report abuse

    I was really disappointed with this experience. I placed my cabinet order on November 19, 2019, and I’m still waiting for the backordered items as of today, April 9, 2020 – they’re now expected to arrive in May. While my distributor has been fantastic and the cabinets themselves are excellent, the company’s communication and fulfillment process has been a major letdown.
