  Vern Zook and VJ Structures did an absolutely fantastic job for us. I hired him back in 2016 to build a home about 35 miles outside of Cheyenne, and I was so impressed with his work then that I went back to him when we recently bought a property with a seriously neglected concrete driveway and steps. Vern listened carefully to our needs and concerns, and his crew tackled the challenge of the old, poorly designed driveway with skill and professionalism. He redesigned the steps, completely eliminating a dangerous tripping hazard – my wife and I are just thrilled with the beautiful, safe steps he created. Vern’s integrity is outstanding; it’s rare to find someone in the construction business with such honesty and care.   I was incredibly frustrated and shaken after a driver in one of the company’s trucks recklessly cut me off on Highway 85 Northbound. As a direct result, I had to slam on my brakes, drastically reducing my speed to around 20 mph. Worse, the truck kicked up a large rock that shattered my brand new windshield. I’ve contacted the company owner multiple times seeking a resolution, but he’s been hesitant and hasn’t taken responsibility for his employee’s actions.   “This week’s interaction with one of the managers, Vern, was unfortunately quite unpleasant. I found him to be rude, and I felt a bit uncomfortable during our conversation. Because of this, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing business with him. I also wanted to express my concern regarding the broken window and the lack of action taken – it’s disappointing that they haven’t addressed this issue.” report abuse

  “Max wasn’t very reliable – he didn’t show up for our scheduled quote and didn’t even let me know he was going to be late. Calling him ‘super professional’ feels a bit misleading in this situation.” report abuse
