  I’m incredibly frustrated with the lack of progress on our new fence. We received a confirmed start date several months ago, and despite confirming the schedule last week – requiring BigD to email me the confirmation – they didn’t show up on the 15th. They then suggested a review tomorrow, even though they’d had months to look at our plans, and I’ve been chasing them ever since. I’ve tried to be responsive, but I haven’t received any communication back, and frankly, I’m losing all confidence that this job will ever get completed. report abuse

  Overall, the work was acceptable, but there were some serious issues that arose. They weren’t quite following our instructions on the cuts, leaving large gaps and using a chainsaw instead of the method we specified. They seemed frustrated with the corrections, but thankfully they complied. However, the biggest problem was that they damaged the sprinkler system without informing us. When we turned the system on after they finished, we discovered a major leak directly where they’d been working. The damage from the initial hit caused dirt to clog the entire system. We contacted Big D about the bill, and while he acknowledged the problem, he then shifted the responsibility, saying it “just happened.” While I understand things can go wrong, the lack of communication and transparency was incredibly concerning. We’re still waiting to see if he will follow through on his initial offer to cover the cost, and I’m hesitant to recommend this company based on this experience. report abuse

The quality of the materials was excellent, and the owner was so professional and gave me a really thorough estimate.
