I absolutely loved my experience at CCAL! They have such a fantastic selection of classes offered this spring, and the membership is a really smart investment – just $50 for an individual. I’d definitely recommend it. Plus, the gallery showcases amazing artwork by local artists. What I really appreciated was the open forum they have on Fridays; it’s a really supportive and creative environment – you can work on your own projects, learn from the artists, or just find some quiet time to focus on your art. It’s a genuinely friendly community, and I think you’d really enjoy it!

I was deeply disappointed with Local PRETENDIAN ART. It seemed to be heavily relying on cultural appropriation of indigenous art, and frankly, it felt irresponsible given the legal issues surrounding this practice. There were some names reported regarding the sourcing of the artwork.
