  “We were absolutely thrilled with the work Aggieland Contracting did for us. We had a really serious roof problem – a tree fell and caused significant damage – and Chris and his team responded immediately, understanding the urgency. They were incredibly professional, explaining everything clearly and doing a fantastic job repairing the damage.   “I really regret working with Aggieland Contracting, specifically Chris. While his crew was actually very skilled and helpful – they quickly fixed some unexpected issues like wood rot and a misinstalled drain – the whole experience was incredibly frustrating and, frankly, dishonest. I hired him to remodel my shower and install a new front door, and he consistently failed to deliver what was promised. He initially quoted me on an ADA-compliant shower, but then tried to charge me an extra $615 at the last minute for grab bars, claiming they weren't standard practice – despite my research showing they *should* be included. It was incredibly upsetting, especially considering it was for my 72-year-old mother-in-law. Beyond the grab bars, he installed a fiberglass door instead of the steel one he’d originally quoted, then later tried to charge me another $4500 for a completely different, flimsy door. He seemed more interested in taking my money than in actually completing the job to my satisfaction. Adding to the problem, he was incredibly rude and dismissive, even insulting me during a phone call. It was clear he wasn’t prioritizing my concerns or treating me with respect. Honestly, it felt like he was trying to deceive me to maximize his profits. If you’re considering working with Aggieland Contracting, be extremely cautious and scrutinize every detail of the quote.   “We were completely devastated by a massive flood caused by frozen pipes, and frankly, we were incredibly frustrated with other contractors we’d contacted – no one returned our calls or showed up for appointments. Then Chris Aversa from Aggieland Contracting stepped in, and he was a true lifesaver. Despite being incredibly busy himself, he took the time to thoroughly assess our damage and worked with us to find a solution. What really stood out was his incredible thoughtfulness – while the repair work was underway, he went above and beyond to ensure I had continued access to the bathroom, which was absolutely crucial. The whole crew was fantastic – hardworking, respectful, and genuinely attentive, and the quality of their work was outstanding; they even improved on the original builder’s craftsmanship!
